TP-LINK device come with 2 years warranty, maybe you should RMA yours if it is still under 2 years.

Anyone knows why my internet light doesn't blink? Already restart the modem, plug out and in the router wire mutiple time but still no internet. I just pasang these last week.

Need a bit of advice here. My hometown house has installed streamyx 1mbps for quite sometime. Most of the time, only my mum will be using the internet... and according to her (who is just a typical auntie who is not tec savy) , the connection is extremely bad.. facebook doesnt load, video buffering forever... or not respond at all.. sometime she gave up and just use her hp 3g even better.

My sibling and I came home for holiday once a year, and our experiences with the connection is terrible as well. I am using Unifi 2mbps in KL, my sister is in singapore (no issue with internet at all), So we don't know if 1mbps streamyx IS SUPPOSE to be this bad? My house area do not have unifi, and 1mbps is the fastest package.. But I find it much slower and unstable than dialup connection!

I am not sure if it could be the free TM wifi router that is causing the problem or the problem from TM line itself. I have tried using lan cable directly to the modem and it just works SLIGHTLY better... still doesnt solve the problem. Is there anything I can do to solve this? Ask TM technician to come and check? Or I directly go and buy a new Wifi router that works for streamyx... I just dont want to spend unnecessary money if that is not the main cause of the problem.

Using Speedtest.net I do get 1mbps... for download... this is just weird.. Any advice??

i heard that tm wireless router is not secure. easy to hack. true? if yes, i wanna replace it with my own tplink router, which leads to the next question:

Login to your router, and change your encryption to WPA/PSK (anything but WEP)

Key in a longer password with mixture of capital alphabets, number and special characters.

Then, try to change the password of your router.

After this, the only way they can access your Internet conn is by hard resetting your router, in which you can instantaneously find out.
