how to enable internet tethering on 5.0.1.. for my previous os 4.3.5 have it..

how to enable? i tot it suppose to be inside ur setting.. iphone originally comes with that function.. no apps needed

If not mistaken, internet tethering (personal hotspot) only appears after a carrier update? Maybe this can help

im cant do that.. coz im lock set ip4... now i already get PDAnet app from cydia.. i hope will functional.. myWi is the best but 19.90$ from cydia..

it's because on iOS 5 u need to set the APN for the tethering, since it won't detect it from your card becuase u use locked phone...

u can make custom profile for your carrier from unlockit.nz and install it, make sure u set correct APN for data connection and tethering...

this also happen with un-official carrier...

hi guys. need help urgently
last week i reset my iphone 3g n lost everything including jailbreak n unlock. then itunes flashed my i3g to 4.2.1 with baseband 5.15.04. after tat i cant connect to any telco network anymore. so i managed to search for the solution n tried the "upgrading to ipad baseband using redsnow" method but it always just disappear when flashing to ipad baseband. is thr any other way to fix my problem?

when flashing the baseband, when redsn0w ask u to put phone to DFU mode, make sure u turn it off 1st normally by hold the power button and slide the turn off slider,

last time, skipping this step cause my problem when flashing baseband...

U must first jailbreak the phone without ticking iPad baseband , then after that's done , open redsnow and untick install Cydia , but tick install iPad baseband , u can't do both simultaneously hope this helps
