yep, last time when it was on ios 5.0.1.
my blob saved by remote in Cydia server.
I even got the blob ID. but the problem is it doesnt prompt for IPSW

i think i know what is the problem. i use my previous firmware iOS 5.0.1.
Maybe i should re-download the official firmware iOS 5.0.1.
gonna try it now and give feedback by tomorrow morning.

*update for my progress*

downgrading iPhone 4S from 5.1.1 to 5.0.1 success
my previous problem was i use my previous firmware iOS 5.0.1.
for the downgrade, we should be using the LATEST iOS 5.0.1

Mine is iPhone 4S 5.1.1, 16GB.
Success jailbreak within 3 minutes.

Initially it was running on IOS 5.0.1 JB untethered, i straight away update to official firmware IOS 5.1.1 without clean restore.
total capacity used before is 8.7GB.
azraeil do a clean restore and JB within 2 minutes, mine is not more than 5 minutes, which means JB process should not take longer than 10 minutes.

for those who stuck, i can confirm that 100% the message in the stuck window is recommending the user to restart the JB process.
if u successfully JB, u WILL NEVER see the message shown as in the screen below.

have u try do clean restore?
clear everything and try again.
make sure your IPSW is the official latest. if u r using previous IPSW for previous JB, try download another.

your guide is actually just exactly the same as iClarified.
just add on the clean restore part.
