Ok is quite simple, go n download 5.0.1 ipsw, then use I faith to create a custom ipsw. Lastly shift restore the custom ipsw....then done u got ur self iOS 5.0.1. Jailbreak or not is up to u.

If you have shsh for 5.0.1, Use ifaith with the saved blob and build a custom ipsw.

Once you are done with that, put your device into pwn dfu mode, open itunes click shift+ restore. point to the custom firmware and let it restore.

You're done!

That's because iFaith can only extract the SHSH of the current firmware that your ipHone is currently using.

use Redsn0w to stitch your SHSH with the FW, another word, create the custom FW using Redsn0w...

So 1st, we preserve baseband :

1. Open Redsn0w 0.9.10b7 or 8, choose Custom IPSW
2. Pick Your Ori 5.0.1 IPSW and wait the process

2nd, We Stitch SHSH

1. Take SHSH of 5.0.1 using TinyUmbrella
2. Use Redsn0w 0.9.10b7 or 8 choose Extras --> SHSH
3. Choose Stitch and Use The SHSH from step 1 (choose Local) combine it with NoBB 5.0.1 we just created
4. Redsn0w will create another IPSW in same folder as your NOBB IPSW the Latest IPSW Name should be look like this (this is mine created using Redsn0w as well) :


3rd, We restore

1. Put your device in PWNED DFU (don't forget to turn off device before do this, to prevent error happen when restore)
2. Restore using iTunes
3. Drink Coffee or eat maggie while iTunes restoring your phone
4. If it stuck on Recovery Screen, Just use Redsn0w again and choose Recovery Fix

Done

Lucky managed to unlock a few sets.

You dont even need to preserved baseband to unlock using sam. Btw i will bring latest gevey unlock for iPhone 4

install syscleanpro 1st from cydia

install mobileterminal as well

run mobileterminal and type : su

when asked for password, enter ur password, default is alpine (if it still alpine, then your phone is actually un-secured btw)

after pass the password prompt, type : syscleanpro

just follow the step by step guide provided,

when done, reboot...

if "iMassage" i'm not sure,    if iMessage then it maybe because of your unlocking method, are u using gevey? or ultrasn0w?

u also need to activated properly using SAM to get iMessage and Facetime to work..
