I think pdf file on cd could be too "advance" for UMWT and our local buyers..  hmm.gif  UMWT has to cater for the lowest denominator and we get the standard local CarePlus/MaxCheck maintenance book which insist a hybrid car must get an oil change at 1k, 5k, 10k, 20k similar to UMW other models....while PriusC sold elsewhere do not recommend this interval as hybrid car don't run the petrol engine at least 30% or more of the mileage.  My own town and very short drivings average about 60% running on petrol engine.

Thank you for the information! Just wanted to peek at the manual before I get it so I can learn more, and to see the minor differences with the N.A. versions (like some of the displays on MID, locking functions etc). I always find it an annoyance to find something that's usually not mentioned that we may not get on our end.

Those alloys look nice, like they wanna chop someones feet off tongue.gif
I kinda wouldn't mind the door visors but I wonder how much it affects it. Prolly not much for me to care. I'm getting kinda itchy looking at all these accessories brows.gif

today drove in the very heavy rain

can hear the raindrops pelting hard on the windshield, much louder than the sound from the roof. when i use my old myvi really can hear the tik tik tok tok damn loud...

wiper is good, the right one is much longer than the left one. not sure the size of the blades and where to get replacement outside also... need to check on my first service about the pricing of wiper.

haha. yup. But when driving Alphard i always depends on the reverse camera grid as its easy to see. Can't wait to get Prius C to test it out. wonder if we can draw line in the reverse camera haha. But then it be very foolish.

Anyone gone for 5k service yet. Do let me know how much it cost to service ya.

Any feedback from current owner on how good/bad/ review on your Prius C.

Maybe you can add a diff "cap" on the reverse cam and mark on that one hehe. For me I guess I'd just use the cam for seeing any obstruction but not rely on it the whole way for parking. I find those proximity sensor things more helpful.

Btw, can you get any trip/car info displayed on the 6.1" touchscreen? I know the US versions have it, would be kind of sad if we couldn't get any info displayed on there and just have it showing nav stuff only..

It is very easy to upgrade just the reverse camera with a better unit that has line marking from most accessories shop.

However the RM2990 option of DVD-AVN 6.1" unit with this reverse sensor is the same one offered for local Vios, Innova, Altis, Camry, Fortuner, HiLux models sold by UMWT. The headunit is OEM from Panasonic while the camera is regular unmark type. Both are locally fitted (I wondered what happened to the original player). Sometime you get poor workmanship on the reverse camera fitting like rough cut edges or black tape coming off.

Fitting quality depends on luck, and UMWT do make some PDI checks, just that some problems may surfaced later - hence ask them what is the warranty coverage.

Updates from OEM are usually a mission impossible, and the map updates are not free.

Thanks vey99 for answer to the last Q - PriusC is our first Toyota, and one that I did not hesitates to order immediately. It join our other CBU cars - an old 206 and a new Sportage. timeonce, pls add me to your list.
