Sadly due the bad supply chain of Toyota, Prius C waiting period >5 months. Or else I believe you can see more Prius C on the road & more members.

So funny that Prius C launch 1 month early then Jazz Hybrid, but I see more Jazz Hybrid then Prius C on the road.

Wondering which car is selling better in Malaysia & more common?

Same to me too. I wanna transfer my car souns system over. But afraid latter the major part or main battery of the car spoilt, they will say no warranty. Cos icheck before before i bookthis car. Penang SA told me will void warranty if change anything. She said there is a latest circular from toyota since one of the prius c install a rear camera and afterthat short circuit caught fire. Haiz. If it void the original players warranty is nevermind. But i afraid they will say this and that affected short circuit then ask u go claim from aftermarket seller. Hope that some toyota technician or sa can clarify this.

When did you order? I ordered mine early march in kk and only getting it May 15th... I feel as if it was 2nd batch or something. Where did you order from also?

anyone here got the dvd-avn from toyota? how can we update the maps on it?

can we get a similar unit installed fr outside? i've heard of a similar unit that is installed for the altis, so i was wondering if that would also work for the prius c...

would it be better to get the one from toyota, or to just explore some other options out in the market?

Hm for me I chose the toyota dvd-avn for the moment even though it's expensive as heck because I just want some kind of compatibility for now with the car/steering wheel controls etc until something better/compatible comes out. As for the updates I asked my SA and they said to ask them for updates (my car is from umw itself), I'm not sure how you would get updates from other dealerships.

When you get your car besides having the manual in book form do they also have it included as a pdf on a dvd?

not sure. i have not even flip open the manual...too happy driving the car around.

I think pdf file on cd could be too "advance" for UMWT and our local buyers.. UMWT has to cater for the lowest denominator and we get the standard local CarePlus/MaxCheck maintenance book which insist a hybrid car must get an oil change at 1k, 5k, 10k, 20k similar to UMW other models....while PriusC sold elsewhere do not recommend this interval as hybrid car don't run the petrol engine at least 30% or more of the mileage. My own town and very short drivings average about 60% running on petrol engine.
