For the audio stuff, you can look in lowyat forum w/o any hassle.
I would take HD668B for casual listening, burn them in to reduce the sibilance ("ssss" on treble) also the harsh high.
If you're in analytical listening, HD669 is great but they are less musical to the HD668B.

Top headphone? Well.. that one is purely based on subjective perception.. but i have owned a HD330, i like the airy and transparent sound it provides. I liked it more than my HD668b also the HD681 EVO  icon_rolleyes.gif

I intend to buy Superlux HD 681 EVO, anyone can point to me which should I get. currently using Klipsch IEM and I'm not used to use it for a long time listening to music because of ear fatigue. how about soundstage and bass and clarity?

Music Genre?

681 Evo is good. Bought one for my gf, liked it better than my 660. Doesn't require an AMP to drive.

Soundstage is okay, as expected of semi-open. Bass is good. Clarity is okay as well. Mids and highs is okay.

681 Evo is a very good all rounder.

Metal/Rock - closed should still be better but since you have jazz and pop as well semi-open is best.

Yeah interested to know whether it is worth it or not.

Not much reviews globally as it is still a new headset.

Is it normal to feel uncomfortable when using Superlux product at the beginning? Because I felt Superlux headphone is small for my head size.

Took almost 6 month to feel comfortable.

The HD669 was too tight for me. While I like the sound, the comfort issues made me hate the headphone. I believe it's because their 'wing' construction did not use a softer material.

HD681 however is very comfortable for me. Loved this can to bits.

Supposedly, but I don't hear anything heavy leaking of sound.

So don't worry about ppl hearing what you are listening.

681 isnt semi open but even semi open models such as 668b I dont feel it is leaking too much.

@Askzra hehe welcome to the club and I hope you enjoy your unit.

@blitzx Technically 681 evo would be a better all rounder unless you want more clarity and details which you can get from the 669.

@merru hmc631 basically is hd631 but with a condenser mic attached. 631 itself is a bassy can.

Stay tune for more community post from trio flex.gif tongue.gif
