Waiting for my HD681 in the mail... icon_idea.gif

Have anyone used this can with the T-Muso or the ESSabre DACs?
Any comments?

Hope someone can share their experience/thoughts/opinions. notworthy.gif

Hi,
Can recommend me a Superlux headphone? Mainly use for gaming, occasional use for music/movie.

Requirement: good all-rounder, wide soundstage

Thanks.

The new 681 Evo is a good all-rounder. Or just go back to the famous 668B, won't go wrong with that.

Superlux are mostly monitoring headphones, not the best for gaming but I don't find any problem gaming with it.

is true about the price is quite expensive. But it depend for worth or not..

PS: some more is a limited edition..

i hear from the malaysia distributor they will bring hmc681 to replace this model. It might be cheaper for hmc681 but the sound quality might not be same.

I always thought the HMC681 will come first, rarely heard of this HMC631.

which one is good for movies and listening to jazz, rnb, 90s pop and old rock (pre-2000 era).

some say 660/681 is good, some say terrible for movies.

For the audio stuff, you can look in lowyat forum w/o any hassle.
I would take HD668B for casual listening, burn them in to reduce the sibilance ("ssss" on treble) also the harsh high.
If you're in analytical listening, HD669 is great but they are less musical to the HD668B.

Top headphone? Well.. that one is purely based on subjective perception.. but i have owned a HD330, i like the airy and transparent sound it provides. I liked it more than my HD668b also the HD681 EVO icon_rolleyes.gif
