be like me then, finish 1 act at a time with all class(more money for artisan, save time for achievements, you can enjoy the story line more, you can get into more random content), by the time you finish normal you should have a good feel on which class to play and what's not  thumbup.gif  icon_idea.gif  thumbup.gif

Hmm, maybe i'll do that too. It might be better for me in a long run.

QUOTE(Y.K. @ Apr 30 2012, 12:08 PM)
same boat, smae dilemma sad.gif

but i narrow down the scope with these criteria:
1. class popularity - most popular class usually cost the gear cost a ton, remember pally torch in D2? a low pally torch worth more than a high barb torch.
2. melee n ranger - imho ranger have better survival power, n involve lower repair costs. be reminded that ppl suspecting repair cost will be 1 of the biggest gold sink in game.
3. mobility - needless to says, to farm, to pick up gold faster smile.gif

so my final canditate is either a DH or wiz.

my 2cents smile.gif

Thats true, but i actually prefer the melee classes more. Probably more impact in the attacks at close range.

Or you can pick the least gear-dependent character, relatively.

The reason I'm going with WD is that I suspect he is less gear dependent than the rest.

all classes are gear dependent now... a 50dps sword on a wizard or WD will greatly increase their spell's damage. Since spell damage now scale with weapon damage.

Yup 9% weapon damage each dog ... but I think you have to re-summon them after you equip the gear.

Yes, and it's true what shawnk said.
Persistant Internet connection is required (even for solo play)

Set the skill you have set the mouse button to another key.

Eg: Hungering shot on left mouse.
Set Hungering shot to right mouse.
Left mouse turns back to default atk.

P/s: You need to turn on Elective mode to do this example.

Why do you want to do that??? DH got 3 type of skills Hatred Generator, Hatred spender and Discipline spender. If you are not generating hatred then you are spending it or you are spending discipline. No point in normal attacking as when you run out of hatred and discipline the next skill you would want to use is not normal attack but hatred generator.

What type of gear are you guys planning to wear first?
GF, MF or DPS?
Why?

For me, GF > MF > DPS.. GF to max out my artisan and stash asap and a little bit of MF if possible to find nice items.

DPS> GF > MF for myself.
Reason: more pewpew = faster kill = faster lvl & clear content smile.gif
Then only begin next stage of MF (Gold will come in higher level anyway)
