there is no activation!!! YOUR HOME REGION IS DECIDED BY YOUR BATTLE.NET ACCOUNT COUNTRY!
so if you want to play with RMAH else where and not the default US RMAH which all SEA and US accounts is defaulted to. Then you need to create a new Battle.net account and make sure your Country is not MALAYSIA!

As for the home region being lock by B.Net account country. It has not been officially announced yet. But from what people are testing they found it to be the country of the battle.net account. Most likely this will be the case. Unless they do it via IP. then you will not have a choice. We will be defaulted to US region.

You can test it out yourself actually.

Make a few new B.Net account.
Vary the county.
And see what they charge you for the pre-purchase.

This is what I know atm.
Msia/Spore/Brunei/Indo = SGD
AU/NZ = AUD
Europe = EURO
US = USD

There is NO Asia/SEA Server... well Blizz haven't announce it yet if they plan to have. So at the moment THERE IS NO SEA SERVERS FOR D3!

US EAST and US WEST has been renamed to NA (North America)
ASIA renamed and split to KR, TW and SEA
Europe remains the same EU.

Yes you can... just create your toon on the EU servers. But you cannot use the RMAH of the EU servers. You can however use the GAH. The reverse is the same. He create a toon on US servers but he cannot use the US RMAH.

Australia home region default is US.

You have to understand then when they started SEA region, it was meant for Aussie, NZ + SEA. Imagine the Aussie in Chinese servers?? or even better imagine you are playing on the Korean servers, where every1 types in korean...I for one dont know how to read Chinese nor Korean.

You can trade Gold in RMAH.

Buy Disc... create B.Net account. Bind CD key to acc. Install on PC A, B, C, D, E, F, .... and play on them. But only can play one at one time.

yes you do if you play multiplayer game. no if you play single player. maps/events/special monsters are randomly generated.

If not mistaken, Blizz has said HC will open after you finish the game 1 time on normal.
I do not advice playing HC.. due to shitmyx quality... 1 DC/Lag skipe is all it takes to kill you hahahaah

No signs of SEA server... I think blizz is piss off with IAH and how they handle SC2 SEA servers.

Haha exactly why no HC for me... shitmyx always lets me down, I have countless wipes due to lag/dc in WoW. Imagine if it were HC... haiz

most likely US... unless we install the KR/TW version then it will be KR/TW 15.5

...beta is not the full game. So yes you CANT use it for the full game later..

Another very useful tip is to bind the move command to the keyboard too.
Mouse move is good but when there are tons of mobs and you want to move but instead you are spamming the primary is a very bad situation.

1. Well my main purpose is the Story. Then the challenge to Inferno, and lastly grinding to make some pocket money

2. You need 2 copies of D3, one for you and another for your brother. If you don't want to buy 2, then you need to share, this means you cannot play together with your brother.

3. PvP when its patched in. I think Co-op at higher difficulty is like high-end raiding in MMORPGs.

Technically you can never finish.. once you finish inferno... you can start again at inferno difficulty or you can make a new char and start from the beginning again.
lets say you have max out all 10 char slots... and all 10 are perfectly geared.

I think by that time an expansion is due.
