Yokohama Advan dB has a reputation of comfortable and good wet and dry traction....

QUOTE(sheezay @ Apr 18 2012, 08:18 PM) ya its the original profile(60) but its not a big deal because i'd prefer to change into lower profile tyre maybe 55 or 50. Seriously bro, just get the PS3. You'll never regret it. The awesome thing about the tire is that its eerily quiet. Even when you push the tire to the limit, understeer or skidding due to hard braking, the tire squeel is nowhere near to what you're used to. This is coming from someone who've used shitty Silverstone, value for money Hankook Ventus V12, All-rounder Goodyear Eagle F1 Directional 5 and finally the PS3 and although the tire is the most expensive of the bunch, it beats all the tires in every single way in terms of braking, accelerating, cornering and noise. |

Water puddles are nothing, just slice thru next one going to try XM2 in another few months This post has been edited by kenji1903: Apr 19 2012, 07:56 AM |

I never know there is PS3 for Camry size. I wanted to use it on my Accord previously but the shop Hup Shun said PS3 were not available, then I opted for XM2 which performs great.

They do not give us for a reason. Probably our cars are too heavy to be fitted 55 profile? I don't know.. but there should be a reason as I said. |

QUOTE(turbocharged @ Apr 19 2012, 05:12 PM) yeah man, XM2 is a totally different range with PS3 If you're used to cornering with the PS3, you're gonna curse like hell when you're on the XM2 lol. I don't know.. but there should be a reason as I said. its just not factory spec. simple as that. some workshop won't want to mess with factory specs, but if you ask me, the diff between profile 55 and 60 is minimal, even negligible.QUOTE(empire23 @ Apr 19 2012, 05:24 PM) Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 / RE050 no comments on the bridgestone or pirelli, but the S-drive have pretty crappy wet grip Yokohama Advan Sport or S-Drive Pirelli P ZERO NERO Take yer pick, but do remember the lives of these rubbers are short. |

QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Apr 19 2012, 05:30 PM) The Bridgestones lose their wet grip after 20,000 to 30,000 kms. After that they aquaplane like nobody's business and RWD become sensitive to the slightest hits of power in the wet. The S-drives are OK in the wet. They're the stockers that come with the Evo and I suppose the AWD makes up for the shite wet grip since you have power on 4. I currently drive on these. The P-Zero Neros are awesome handlers, but they cost a bomb, have the lifespan of a mayfly and their NVH jacks up a few notches as they get older. |

QUOTE(kenji1903 @ Apr 19 2012, 05:52 PM) i'm using Bridgestone RE080 (stock 185/60R15) in my current car, so XM2 (upgrading to 195/55R15) will be a lot better you're driving a Vios? if not mistaken those are stock Vios tires lol. PS3 also have in your size if not mistaken.my other car is on PS3 but usually don't drive that fast due to the bodyroll |
