overall agree with u on PS3, but in quietness dept, Primacy LC wins smile.gif
i changed from shitty NCT5 to Primacy LC, so big difference, makes me wonder if NCT5 is really a tyre doh.gif
after that changed to PS3, a bit noisier but fantastic wet grip... Water puddles are nothing, just slice thru shocking.gif
next one going to try XM2 in another few months smile.gif

guys i have different opinion for PS3, currently using it on my hyundai accent 195/55/15, change it from Good Year GSD3 eagle f1. But once compare in wet wat i feel is gsd3 would be much more better than ps3.

Before change it to ps3 a lot of ppl recommend this saying that its much more better than my gsd3. In dry condition i got no problem with it but wet i doubt it.

Any comment.

u can go search tyre review.

which they took several tyres and compare.

in terms of wet & overall

GY F1Ass2 > PS3

F1A2 is above GSD5 ( no more GSD3, but ppl claimed GSD3 is better than GSD5).

F1A2 and PS3 very very emphasis on wet, which is very important in malaysia. Dry grip is nothing unless u go sepang. rainy day we see malaysian accident very frequent.

but look at the groove on GSD5, i would say wet performance is not as good as PS3.

simple, look at ps3 and F1A2, the straight groove is big....GSD5 is V thread for dry grip biggrin.gif

directional tires are primarily for wet traction.
V treads or directional treads have NO ADDITIONAL benefits compared to regular tires (or asymmetrical tires) for dry performance, grip or traction smile.gif
do note that grip and traction while inter-related, are different things altogether.

the only drawback for directional tires are less options for tire rotations, and tire noise.
