QUOTE(MeToo @ Apr 18 2012, 06:04 PM) U forgot to mention PS3 have very soft sidewall and his tyre is 60 means high sidewall. Put those 2 together, its not a good thing. they don't even make profile 60 lol. only got profile 55. Not too bad la the sidewall, pump the psi higher by a few psi problem solved |

QUOTE(MeToo @ Apr 18 2012, 06:08 PM) Tyre pressure doesnt affect the regidity of the sidewall wor... too soft and under heavy conering there is a risk... 60 profile and 55 is negligible la. last time i use prof 60 on rear, now change to 195/55/15, not much diff also Actually.. i dont think many high performance tyres makes 60 profile.... cause... Sports & high sidewall doesnt go together actually tyre pressure does affect rigidity of sidewall. you go track day, every PSI counts. I pumped my tires (Eagle F1 D5, Hankook V12) all the way up to 40psi on track day lol. After that try soften it to 35psi and bloody hell the sidewalls started rolling in the corners |

QUOTE(sheezay @ Apr 18 2012, 08:18 PM) ya its the original profile(60) but its not a big deal because i'd prefer to change into lower profile tyre maybe 55 or 50. Seriously bro, just get the PS3. You'll never regret it. The awesome thing about the tire is that its eerily quiet. Even when you push the tire to the limit, understeer or skidding due to hard braking, the tire squeel is nowhere near to what you're used to. This is coming from someone who've used shitty Silverstone, value for money Hankook Ventus V12, All-rounder Goodyear Eagle F1 Directional 5 and finally the PS3 and although the tire is the most expensive of the bunch, it beats all the tires in every single way in terms of braking, accelerating, cornering and noise. |

QUOTE(guanteik @ Apr 19 2012, 11:50 AM) I never know there is PS3 for Camry size. I wanted to use it on my Accord previously but the shop Hup Shun said PS3 were not available, then I opted for XM2 which performs great. depends la. PS3 got 55 profile only, don't have 60 profile. but width and diameter same. Its up to the shop whether they want to give anot lol. |

QUOTE(turbocharged @ Apr 19 2012, 05:12 PM) yeah man, XM2 is a totally different range with PS3 If you're used to cornering with the PS3, you're gonna curse like hell when you're on the XM2 lol. QUOTE(guanteik @ Apr 19 2012, 05:19 PM) They do not give us for a reason. Probably our cars are too heavy to be fitted 55 profile? I don't know.. but there should be a reason as I said. its just not factory spec. simple as that. some workshop won't want to mess with factory specs, but if you ask me, the diff between profile 55 and 60 is minimal, even negligible.QUOTE(empire23 @ Apr 19 2012, 05:24 PM) Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 / RE050 no comments on the bridgestone or pirelli, but the S-drive have pretty crappy wet grip Yokohama Advan Sport or S-Drive Pirelli P ZERO NERO Take yer pick, but do remember the lives of these rubbers are short. |

QUOTE(kenji1903 @ Apr 19 2012, 05:52 PM) i'm using Bridgestone RE080 (stock 185/60R15) in my current car, so XM2 (upgrading to 195/55R15) will be a lot better you're driving a Vios? if not mistaken those are stock Vios tires lol. PS3 also have in your size if not mistaken.my other car is on PS3 but usually don't drive that fast due to the bodyroll |

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Apr 20 2012, 10:53 AM) depends on the sizei'm on 195/55/15 so PS3 is RM288 for me while V12 is RM205 lol. Thats why they say the V12 is value for money king. QUOTE(skyline34 @ Apr 20 2012, 11:14 AM) guys i have different opinion for PS3, currently using it on my hyundai accent 195/55/15, change it from Good Year GSD3 eagle f1. But once compare in wet wat i feel is gsd3 would be much more better than ps3. never tried the GSD3 so no comment but i tried the Goodyear F1 D5 and the PS3 trumps it in every way. Just my honest review Before change it to ps3 a lot of ppl recommend this saying that its much more better than my gsd3. In dry condition i got no problem with it but wet i doubt it. Any comment. IMO the Goodyear F1 D5 is very very similar to the V12 in terms of grip in dry and wet. Only thing noticeable is the harder sidewalls compared to the V12, other than that pretty much the same. |

Yeah the Goodyear F1 Directional 5 costs RM265 a piece but then IMO the performance is more or less the same with a Hankook Ventus V12 which costs RM205 a piece. The PS3 is on a totally different level though so to me the RM288 price is justified

Since both the V12 and the F1 D5 is rated as UHP tires, the XM2 rated as normal use fuel-saving tires, and the PS3 trumps both the V12 and F1 D5, i won't go for the XM2 lol.
