frankly speaking - i dont think naza kia will increase the price by 10k - if it does, it will bring itself too close to the peugeot 508 == will you buy a korean or french car for the same price ? ?

true indeed. unless the 2.0 GDI coming in at 10k extra. biggrin.gif

I've been driving this beauty for 3 days now and am totally satisfied. Went to Genting Bukit Tinggi for dinner and this is my comments thus far:

1. Have been loving automatic light - It lights up when you're with the remote near to the car, greeting you. When you unlock the car, the head light turn on, very eye catchy! When you lock the car, the head light remain on for 30 seconds, allowing you to see the path clearer.
2. On cornering, I can confidently take the corners
3. Automatic wipers sometimes not so accurate, especially at night; it swipe fast when just it is just drizzling
4. When opening the sunroof, the car sometime automatically switches to allow outside intake of air to the car; very smart!

I find it acceptable for the tyre noise; not that bad for my experience smile.gif Still discovering all the car features and loving it. Also purchased my car mat from Sh@rty today and was totally satisfied.

However I discovered the battery negative cap is missing? Can other bro confirm that there are battery negative cap?

On Saturday, i saw 5 different Kia Optima's around PJ in the space of 3 hours. Good sign i would say. Also saw an equal number of Sonata's too.

Hi smile.gif

Just bought myself Optima 2.4 EX in Santorini Blue. I am from Brunei. Cost me around RM80k after convertion. And mine is not the High High Spec, only MidSpec. The High Spec cost RM93.

Bought it on the 14th of July and I picked it up on the 19th.

I would love to be a member of K5 Club here biggrin.gif.

I just filled 80.26L of fuel today. Damn! Dunno why Kia claims the tank capacity is 70L.

you may be finished your fuel to the max..bro never do that cause it can ruin your fuel pump life span..the tank capacity 70l but there is always small reservation between tank to fuel pump. that means u had kaw kaw used till it dry... yawn.gif rclxub.gif

Its always good to know your maximum range. Ive done this on previous cars as well. This comes in handy in emergencies.

The reason why you can almost always fill more than your tank's capacity is because the max fuel sensor is not really located at the brim of the tank. Thats why if u really fill, the first bar takes ages to drop, but subsequent bars are much faster. Same with other cars too.

But my question is, how come we can fill up to 10L more than the specified tank capacity? I can understand about 4 or even 5L max, but 10L??? rclxub.gif

Most of the time, i fill between 72-76L of fuel. Very rarely i fill below 70L. My previous record was 78.95L when i first got the car. But now ive managed 80.26L. My distance travelled was 780km. This consisted of 80% highway driving at 160-170kmph and the rest in city traffic. Quite good i must say. The fuel economy is improving as the car gets more mileage. biggrin.gif
