hi guys, im a new proud owner of white K5

any idea how much it cost to only tint the sun/moon roof? ive got all my windows tinted but totally forgotten about the sunroof :/

anyone installed additional amps and woofers in their K5s? im thinking of installing my JBL monoblock amp and a pair of 10" infinity sub-woofers from my previous car. not sure if this would void the warranty..

has anyone done any protection for their rims? found this on the web

K5 do have great sound system, but i still miss those heavier boom effect from the rear instead from the front, and if i dont install them, my amp and subwoofer are just gona end up lying in my store..

if you meant the ashray, mine came with it

yeah, i found out about that on the 1st day after i got my car and left the key inside while pumping petrol.
but the best part was on the 2nd day, after parking my car at my office i was again unable to lock the car again but that time i was very sure that the key was in my pocket, was wondering why i couldnt lock the car and kept hearing a soft alarm from the car... then only i noticed ive forgotten to turn off the engine.... the engine was too quiet....

i think thats one feature for electronic steerling wheels (camry), it locks the steerling to prevent it from swinging in order to stablised the wheels. as for K5 i think the steerling is powered by hydraulic, so we are still able to manoeuver the steerling while the wheels are stablised with the ESP...
please correct me if im wrong

ah.... finally we have a better wallpaper as background!

guys i need some advice. im thinking of down sizing my rims to 17" with either 235/45R17 Goodyear Asy 2 or 225/55R17 Pirelli P7 tyres, reasons simply because the rims and tyres are alot cheaper than the 18". is that a good move?

i have some suggestions... maybe we should create another name list with our real names next to our user name together with our number plate, and also someone could print some stickers to label our cars according to the member list for example:

1) K5WHITE - Snow White pearl- (Real Name)- (Car number)- member code sticker K5CM001 (K5 Club Malaysia 001)
2) Djsoo - Bright Silver (Real Name)- (Car number)- member code sticker K5CM001 (K5 Club Malaysia 001)
3)
30) EDW666 - Snow white pearl- Edward Siow- WWV196- K5CM030
31)and so on...

and with the stickers label on our rear windscreen it would be easy for us to identify our members on the road in future as well.
