Secondly, Top Speed is famous for ripping off customer.

At one time I just went there for a tyre, they psycho me with everything else. Brake pads, driveshaft etc. I smiled only listening to his explanation. Bloody rip off. Then when I said "No, thank you.", they started to feel grumpy and shit.

That shop should be literally C4-ed by KPDNHEP or whatever..

yes absorber rosak will give u discomfort..but at the same time can give uneven worn at your tyre and affect the car braking distance & performance.
my style i'll send the car to sc for 2-3 years..try to note down what they check, change or repair at each interval..
after that go to outside workshop.

did u cnfirm n check if they really replace your absorbers??
this shop's name sounds familiar.. if it's the one, they are well known to re-spray your parts to make it look like new, than charge u as they hav replaced new ones..

in this IT age where u can get all the info at ur finger tips...still there were a case where people got conned..i'm flabbergasted!

Weird, TS should've asked the price of parts when mechanic asked to change, and disagree when the service cost exceeds certain limits.

I was really shock when saw a single "simple"(non major repair) service trip incurred RM2k+.

go ask from spare part shop...or search in Automotive Garage...

an honest advice from me as my wife also using myvi...next time if u want to service ur car please go to this place..Chan Auto Taman Sri Muda S.Alam..good & honest perodua service center

My car run for 15 years already then only consider to change disc due to getting thin.. or is MyVi brake disc is that bad?

they conned strategically.
when i went there, first time,
i used their package to change the engine oil.
package is like this

RM 79 for 10/40W engine oil free one oil filter and one can of leather wash.
and plus free RM 5 KFC voucher.

in first time service, i was very happy.

then second time service, they started to ask you to choose same package,
then i asked them to check tyres, because i felt tyres air leaking quickly,
then they remove tyre and checked, then told me front absorber problem.
i said ok to change front absorber. then after dismantle front absorber,
then they started to told absorber link ft (RM160) also need to changed.

AFTER 10 mins, they said "miss, i found that back absorber also broken",
i said no need, then he said it is one set.
if you change front, dont change back, it will be problem also.
you better change one set.

then they didnt tell me that we need to pay "RM 100" for chamber set.
he just said we need "RM 20 for alignment" normally, it was RM 26. now we charged you RM20.
then no choice la. i said ok. after that, when the car go to alignment area. they started to said
"miss, we cant do alignment without chamber set. we need additional RM 100"

it is step by step.....

i asked for discounts before i changed, and they said we can go to counter to discuss later...
then when i go to counter, it is RM 2XXX already.

Yes, i saw they sell tyre and engine oil in package price.
very attractive package.

E.g. good year RM 165 x 4, some more Free RM 30 KFC voucher.

after you take this tyres package, next time, you come, then .......

i asked "i went to other shop, no need to change any thing then can do alignment",
"normally technician just knocked the rim like that".

he asked me "how to knock?"
" I dont know how to knock without changing chamber nut".

tyre shop alwyz ask this question too..
i just told them nevermind.. then went to my workshop do adjust the alignment using thread only, settle.. another shop done alignment using ruler (even better) at section 17 shah alam..

it is better to have chamber screw installed for chamber adjustment...like Forte problem settled by adjustable chamber screw...if u dunno about this problem,u can google it...but the only problem with this workshop...they charge TS overpriced.if we buy the chamber screw from spare part shop,it will be less than rm30.

without adjustable chamber screw,still can do alignment but cannot adjust ur chamber if it is already misaligned...what will happen?ur tire will be uneven in some time...in malay,makan sebelah....

Just curious, there are 1001 workshops to go to....why go Top Speed?

next time brings someone > know about car...and ur lucky u got tht $$$...if not how to pay?y u blindly agreed on wut they ask u to do...plsss la...next time remember...u go to tribunal osso hardly to tell...coz u ady agree..they can debate on tis..come on...its pass ady...just spread the words to among fren...dont trust tis shop anymore...chamber nut just an accessories la....
