Crunches strengthen your ab. If you want 6 pack, crunches is necessary.

Okay, explanation:

It may not guarantee you 6 packs, but it will certainly help.

You didn't smell the sarcasm? Your focus on crunches and sit up simply show that you are still doing spot-reduction.
Before you focus on exercise, you must learn to eat right. Your diet does not have sufficient nutrition.

Hey guys, I lost about 1.5kg since the last I weight myself (9th of June)
Just wondering is that water lost or really weight lose ? As I work out almost 6 days a week with rarely cheating day. I was wondering is that really weight lost or just some water lost. mind to share ? Well, i'm really new in this tho. So basically this is what I took daily and my workout.

Workout

sits up (started since June 1st. Now reaching 85 sit up per day)

Plank (30sec x 2)

some weight-lifting
dumbell fly 5x5set

Congrats on your first step to lose weight. Better start slow than never right. No worries, we are here to guide you. First of all, I believe that is water loss. Fat loss won't go easy with you in just few days.

On your diet, I fully understand that reducing portion is not that easy. So what I am suggesting that you try to avoid oily food AT LEAST. And try to replace any drinks with just plain waters. With those two tips, would greatly help you losing weight for the first 10kg. And maybe another 10, or maybe another more 10, depends on your target. Fruit and bread during lunch is not a good option. For lunch you must have protein source, carbo, and veggy (fiber) and yes again please avoid oily food.

On your workout, Incline threadmill is good, keep up the good work. And if possible try slow jog without incline or a start.
Sit up is not recommended for you. Do crunches instead as others have recommended in previous post. And 1000 crunches is not impossible. Divide the 1000 rep with upper crunch, side crunch, etc (Google is your best friend, search for type of crunches) and further down to do it by after you woke up, morning, afternoon, evening, night, etc. For your weight training............................................................................................. (Google still your best friend. Use it)

Consistency is the key dude. If you not consistent you'll never achieve good.

Owh, and yes.. Please please and please don't do spot-reduction. Do the training, spot later.

I am not recommending him to do 1000. He is doing sit up and someone who just started (not fit) is way of a hell of doing it. And that would demotivate him. What am I suggesting is much lighter exercise that he could do. And forummer here stated that he must do 1000. So, I explain to him that 1000 is not a myth. It could be achieved by dividing the rep through out the day. Its up to you bro how many rep you want. In getting fit, as long as you move, you are good enough rather than lay down your @$$ on your comfy couch.

My bad, I don't see your name there. Sorry. The 2nd phrase meaning that, in weight losing you can't decide which part of your body would reduce first. Some people are using such product as sauna belt in hoping their waist would be smaller, deep heat cream to rub certain part of the body in hoping their thigh, arm, or belly to spot any reduce. Certain exercise such as sit up in hoping your six pax to reveal in just few times you do it. All and all of that wouldn't happen as the reduction would be decided by your body. By then, just do the training to reduce your body fat mass and you will see how well you are progressing.

Ah that makes a lot of sense compared to your previous post. Would totally agreed on you about this. There is no sport reduction and it is a myth. I was posting in sarcasm sense about the 1000 crunches to lose the fat belly as a reply to someone else, but they thought I am telling the truth laugh.gif

Sry or the misunderstanding dude. Haha.. I got what you meaning bro. It was like; wow, you are doing 'A LOT' abs exrc? Why not make it 1000 a day then. Hahaha.. But hey, Do something impossible would make you awesome rite. Watch 44 Best Bodyweight Exercise (Youtube please...). For me it's impossible to do all of that. But by the time I can, I would feel great thumbup.gif

If you are talking about the whole body (including face), start exercising rigorously and eat clean(er).

If you are talking about only the face... plastic surgery is that way... ->
