Anybody heard of Tripo-X?

It's a natural food supplement with 2 main formulations. ONE - BLOCK FATS. TWO - BLOCK CARBS. It has been shown in studies to reduce carbohydrate and fats absorbtions, hence reducing calories.
*
QUOTE(scribbliciousss @ May 20 2013, 04:21 PM)
Tripo-X is made to reduce the absorption of fats & carbs up to 40%-60%, not 100% (If it's so, I wouldn't have suggested the product in the first place).
*
So which one is it? Now the product description changes according to my question?

How about I eat less? Should be the same effect as your product no? Well, without the hole in my pocket of course

Eating healthy and exercise are the still the foundation to a successful and sustainable weight management program, Tripo-X will help to accelerate your weight loss program.

It's just as simple as that smile.gif
*
Then it's no different than what a member's signature states - if it's successful then it's because of the product. If it didn't work, then it's because the user did not take care of his/ her food intake or didn't exercise laugh.gif

End of the day, proper food intake and workout is suffice to be healthy. I believe anything that "accelerates" is only temporary.

Alien9, the product description didn't change smile.gif it's just that I gave you the detailed version at the latter reply... according to your question smile.gif

Well, you can eat less, but you'll feel hungry thereafter, or end up snacking more. Well, it depends on your goals actually. There are a few usage of Tripo-X:

1. Healthy Lifestyle: To Reduce fat and carbs in diet, take Tripo-X before fat-rich, oily or high carb meal (ie: Char Kuey Teow)
2. Weight Control: Aim is not to put additional weight, but to maintain weight, take Tripo-X before high calorie meals (buffet, nasi kandar, banana leaf rice...etc)
3. Weight Loss - (Gradual) Take Tripo-X with all main meals (lunch and dinner)
4. Weight Loss - (Fast) Take Tripo-X with every meal and exercise for 30 minutes at least 3 times per week.

There's 50% off now, so, no hole in your pocket.

It depends on motivation behind loosing weight. You're right, sweet_pez, the best reason to loose weight should be for health purposes, right? Unless we eat 5 types of fruits, 5 types of vegetables, 3 types of cold water fish, 2 types of protein, grains, nuts and soy everyday and exercise 30 mins a day, then yay! We are on the right track! No nasi lemak, no chicken rice, no char kuey teow, no mee mamak, no nasi goreng, no roti canai... but all home cooked food, fresh fruits and vegetables.

Temporary or long term it depends on how the user uses the product. The product is here to assist (esp those with unhealthy meals) and how one use it depends on his/her own determination in staying healthy smile.gif

lol who said so? Who says one can't have occasional nasi lemak and char kuey teow? Will you get bloated with fat just by having these food once in a while? Or are you implying that by taking this only-burn-50%-hole-in-your-pocket product, the user can have nasi lemak, chicken rice, char kuey teow, mee mamak, nasi goreng and roti canai more often? It doesn't seem to encourage people to be healthier but for the worse: "No worries, I can have Nasi Lemak for lunch because I'm taking xxx product. It will reduce my fat." (or so it says)

Yup now we're talking about determination in staying healthy. If one determination, he/ she does not need the help of supplement or product. Agree?

I need to eat 2500 kcal a day to lose my bf%. Do you know how much is 2500 kcal a day worth of food?

If you eat unhealthy food all the day and dreamt of losing weight, keep dreaming. You've been fat because you over eat, so logically how do you get thin? Owh, I need Tripo-X for that wink.gif

Yes but then your metabolism is damaged and your weight loss is stagnant. Most Bikini IFBBPro (The Best Bodybuilding Competition in the World) competition's coaches make their athletes eat less than 1000kcal for competition and ending up damaging the metabolism.

What can it do to your body?

I have been trying to loose weight for years. not successful. But since I shared the Goat's milk with my 5 shitzi dog, I started to. Doctor said Goat's milk is good cause it's alkaline, rich in nutrients and calcium, smaller protein molecule. So I drink the fresh Goat Milk together with my dogs every morning. I lost weight!! Not because of the milk but because my dog is becoming hyper active and now I have trouble chasing them back to cage every night.
Heh.... don't believe ya. I am now a dog chaser. Thanks to my friend's Goat's Milk. His contact 017-2822119 he will delivery it to your house. make yourself a chaser, you'll know........ haha

Eating healthy is important. Yes, you can eat your fav fatty food once in a while. But how many once-in-a-while(s) are we talking about? Let's be honest. But hey, if the product can help you to reduce carb & fat while you enjoy your once-in-a-while meals, then why not? It depends on how the user wants to use it. Tripo-X is flexible. You can have it once a while? Every meal? Once a meal? Once a week? Just use it when you want to block that particular meal.

For me, when I eat my salad, I finish my sashimi salad without Tripo-X.

But, If I have to go to a 10 course wedding dinners (give angpao RM180 and watch people eat?) or birthday meals, Tripo-X *gulp*.

Well, if you think you don't need the supplement, then, you don't need them (: Yup.

Which again, is bad because of increasing reliance towards the product. Telling people they can eat it every single meal is telling them to eat Nasi Lemak, KFC etc every single meal. And yes, the user will not suffer because there's your product. Let's see if this person can live to an old ripe age by taking your product every single meal.

If you read from Page 1-this page, you will find that people do have cheat days where they indulge in their favourite food. How often? Well you gotta read from Page 1 to find out.

You only need to be equipped with knowledge, motivation and persistence to lose fat (or achieve your goal). And all these doesn't involve paying for products they do not need.

Oh dear... hope you're getting much better smile.gif

The key to be fitter and healthier is simple. Take care of your food intake and workout is a must. No excuse for not exercising. It depends on individual... there are people who exercises an hour a day on alternate days while there are those who goes to gym 6-7 days a week for 2-3 hours. How intense and how challenging is to be determined by you & your body because everyone is different. A combination of weights and cardio for your workout would be good.

When it comes to food intake, I'd say skip the fattening, sugary and unhealthy stuffs for a start. Eat more protein (eggs, milk, nuts, beans etc), lean meat, vege and fruits.

I think first step is to reduce your cigarettes to half of what you're taking right now then stop once and for all. Try the e-cigarette, I heard it helps numerous people in curbing the habit. Smoking affects the health of your lungs and when it comes to jogging/ running, the stronger the lungs, the better one can run (correct me if I'm wrong).

Why skip breakfast? Don't give excuses that you have no time for it. How long does it take to make a bowl of oats? Less than 5min.

"Breakfast feeds your body the fuel it is in need for and serves to jumpstart and speed up the metabolism. Just by eating breakfast, containing all of the three main components (protein, carbs, and fat) can raise your metabolism 60-100%." quote from here So remember, take your breakfast no matter what.

By only consuming only bread and flavoured water (?) you're not getting the nutrients needed for your body. Your metabolism drops and how would you expect to have better stamina when you're not eating well? Where would you generate the energy to even jog?

You realize you don't drink enough water, are you drinking more?

The key to losing weight is to manage your food intake + regular exercise. Not forgetting about losing the cigarette. Despite the macho image of men smoking portrayed in advertisements, it's a major turnoff for most ladies doh.gif

Hello guys, mind helping me? I'll be doing this in point form, so it won't be too long. Sorry for the wall of text tongue.gif

Age: 18
Height: +- 169
Weight: 90+ kg, I don't really mind my having some weight, as long as I can still be active and feel more alive and energetic.

- Was "kinda" fit in 2011, had motivation back then. Finished Shaun T's Insanity workout with great results. Transformed from a couch potato to a sort of active and more outgoing person.
- Lost motivation by the end of the year. Gave myself too much reason why i should not work out or exercise anymore
- Long story short, I became a couch potato again. Procrastinating and stopped my workout for around 1 year.
- Trying to regain my fitness.
- Starting Insanity again, but I can't finish 1 session, can only go halfway.

Any tips for me? I do not expect rapid lost or anything as I've been through this before. But I find it harder to get back in. Any supplements you guys can suggest? I only took whey protein before.

As for my foods, it's about the same everyday:

Morning: Oatmeal or wholemeal bread
Tea time (10 am): Sandwich (wholemeal bread with eggs, lettuce and cheddar)
Lunch: Chicken rice or something similar (I can't pack anything from home. The food will get cold and my lunch break is only 1 hour)
After workout (around 5 or 6pm): Whey protein, blended with lettuce, cucumber, carrots and fresh milk.
Dinner(only if I'm feeling hungry): A piece of cheddar and an apple.
Before bed: Milk (1 glass)

Thanks biggrin.gif
Sorry again for the wall of text.
