Hello sirs.
I've started gyming (doing the stronglifts 5x5 program) for 2-3 weeks now and I started at 56kg 180cm. I'm trying to get enough protein in my diet (about 1XXgrams right?) but the supplement I've been taking (Horley's bodybuilding) is giving me "side effects". I've been getting diahrea (however you spell it D:) sometimes after taking it with milk (but not always), but it is somewhat consistent (like once a week). I don't think I'm lactose intolerant... Also the supplement tastes horrible. (sweet and a little salty for some reason). Any other supplements that is recommended that I can try out to see if my stomach agrees with it or not? |

QUOTE(Decky @ Jul 4 2012, 08:30 PM) Hello sirs. You don't need the mass gainers man. Go for the real food. It is not easy to consume them in the first place but you have to and you need to. Just think, if you need mass gainers to increase your weight from 56kg to 60kg, how about when you want to increase from 70kg-80kg (muscle, not fat)? You want to consume 3 servings of mass gainers a day?I've started gyming (doing the stronglifts 5x5 program) for 2-3 weeks now and I started at 56kg 180cm. QUOTE(Decky @ Jul 4 2012, 09:10 PM) Its good if you already notice it. 3 large meals or 6 small meals. For me, I don't have any problem consuming 2 very large meals but for skinny guys, knowing that they cannot eat lots of food in one serving, 6 small meals should be ok. |

Finding it hard to consume large meals. Thanks for clearing things up. I personally find that there's so many differing views on nutrition and working out (lot of folk intuition involved), hence why I'm rather confused. Thanks for guiding. |

did anyone try Muscle Juice Revolution 2600, i'm currently taking it and i'm still a beginner to these stuffs. anyway, i'm only 16 and i wanna bulk up a little bit so i started going to gym 4 weeks ago and started taking supplements. What do you think about it? Should i change it to another product or stay the same for a few months? Or maybe you guys have better suggestions? |

Eat more whole foods. 3 main aspects in weightlifting are exercises, diet, and rest. Focused on these three aspects first before going on to the next aspects such as supplements, time under tension, meal timing etc. You won't get much of a gain by just taking what you want which is for your situation are exercise and supplements.Don't waste your time doing something but not getting anything from it. Trust me, I've been there. Most of us have been there before, that is why we are giving such advices/ |

If not, you have too consume whatever amount you need to consume. If you have, why do you need to take more protein? BUT it is advisable to consume protein just before going to bed, preferably a slow digesting protein such as casein. This will provide slow supply of protein for muscle recovery. |

Been going on syntha 6 for a couple of weeks. 1 serving morning, 2 serving for post workout and 1 after 1 hour of dinner. Been doing great, getting some small gains. I choose this protein cause it has different type of protein in it, example, whey, egg, casein(for people who dont eat every 2 hours like me) and etc. Overall, its quite good. Flavour is chocolate milkshake. Changed my protein from ON WHEY GOLD to Syntha 6.

I usually have 3 egg white ( 18g ) one whole chicken leg ( 12g ) , dinner ( random cause under catering ) approx 9g, one protein shake after workout ( 48g ) and lastly, minor proteins from stuffs like bread, oats, etc ( 5g ) = 92. I'm lacking of 20.5g of protein, looks like protein shake is needed before bed This post has been edited by gannicholas: Jul 4 2012, 11:48 PM |
