for those s2 user with battery drain only 1~2% overnight...is the phone charge 100% before sleeping?? because I never get such low battery drain

1 more thing.. I9100G able to achieve 1.2GHz with new firmware update if no mistake lah so it hard 2 differentiate whether is NON G or G!

AP sets sources from overseas mainly europe.
So if the country of the sets already got ICS. then it will have ICS out of the box.
If Ugot old stock the there will no ICS. but u can update trough kies or flash with odin to get ICS.

directD ap set can't get ICS.. he stated clearly.. which is weird..

just check whether it's I9100 or I9100G

I think he meant no ICS out of the box. U can update it manually.
or else flash custom ROM la. since its AP set.

System data might be different if your backup are Samsung rom system data and you're migrating to AOSP type.

Actually I've gotten FC while restoring across different custom roms (both Samsung ROMs) as well. So for system data, better to restore on a selective basis (manually choose it, like wifi logins and perhaps SMS. The green ones in general should be fine, don't restore red ones)

Yes i knew those with red label cannot be restored. I just tested to restored the system with data restoration only and guess what; the problem I mentioned earlier appeared again. Actually I only wanted to restored my message only.That's all

If only that don't restore system data. Just restore missing apps and data like mentioned, then manually look for your SMS/MMS backup under the "backups" tab, and restore only the data from that. Then see if issues persist

That is not how you restore messages. To restore message its one of the green ones. I think apn,sms etc. something like that.

I think depends on which region the phone comes from. If it comes from region already with the ICS update, then got lor, otherwise don't have....or some smart selller flash the phone with some customized firmware and half brick it before it reaches your hand....

^this 1 i know.. can't avoid it de.. but i got a bad feeling that the ap set is really not come with mali & exynos for the ap NON G set.. with g or not g can't prove it really use mali + exynos..

Dropbox, fiabee and Box all are online storage? What use? just storage our file (like photo, video, songs) online?
Is it something similiar with IOS' iCloud, or Window's online storage (integrated with hotmail one, duno what's the name)?

about the g / non g issue .

if you scare u got a G unit , everytime when test phone , u just restart the phone .

if it is G unit - the bootanimation will hv the i9100G word.

if it is not - it will only have i9100.
