QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Apr 8 2012, 04:20 AM) == where got wrong nowadays all selling ori set which is I9100G is still got i9100, but totally hard to find at all Right and wrong. If you're talking about total market share of the phones in existence, then both non-G and G has AP/ORI. If you're talking about CURRENT situation, only G is ori, non-G all AP. No more non-G from official retailer (don't talk about buy 2nd hand).

QUOTE(antt00 @ Apr 8 2012, 04:21 PM) And you believe him because...... It's on the internet, thus must be true.... Anyway, given all the reported problem with ICS on S2...maybe it's the truth after all...

QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Apr 10 2012, 11:27 AM) ya.. got something confuse me.. y directd ap set got no ICS whereas bebeq set got ICS? both also ap set.. directd pmed said "Official update not available yet" but directd set which is AP.. confusing I think depends on which region the phone comes from. If it comes from region already with the ICS update, then got lor, otherwise don't have....or some smart selller flash the phone with some customized firmware and half brick it before it reaches your hand....

QUOTE(barca96 @ Apr 12 2012, 01:16 PM) Do you guys buy 32gb memory card? Or will that slow the phone down? I am a bit ol skool. My first smartphone. But I remember back in the days on a candy bar phone, the phone shops used to advice me not to get a big memory card, was 2gb back then, cause it will slow down the phone. Does it apply to a smartphone like S2 as well? If yes, then Ill just buy 16gb. Which brand is recommended? Toshiba?Sandisk? Get a fast card. I would say Sandisk. got 30MB/s read or something like that.

QUOTE(MYstombox @ Apr 12 2012, 02:17 PM) The class will give you an idea on the speed for read/write. But the read ahead speed in the android system also is another bottleneck. Sometimes classs is not everything...Sandisk class 6 disk is as fast or faster than some other class10 disks. Better get the info on actual read/write speed of the memory card to determine the speed.

QUOTE(Dark_Angel85 @ Apr 18 2012, 02:36 PM) Hmmmm... really? I'm not sure about that... but it's always better to flash a newer rom for the bug fixes and stuff that new roms normally have eh? I'm in no hurry to jump ship. No time to mess around the phone... GB is uber stable anyway... maybe ics seemed smoother in transitions... Far from truth. New ROMS released in a rush, will gives more problems than old ones. I'll rather have a working ROM with 100% everything working than a new ROM with "advanced features" but broken with many teething problems.

QUOTE(iwant2 @ Apr 22 2012, 01:38 AM) One X better camera then S2?? It better be, given it is a new model 1 year later and hyped with all the advertising campaign about it's camera and a hefty price tag. You should compare HOX with S3, not S2. Added on April 22, 2012, 2:18 pmbTW, not sure if this is posted before. http://www.globalmobileawards.com/winners2012.phpSGS2 - Smartphone of the Year (Move over fruity boy!) Samsung - Device Manufacturer of the Year Proud to be SGS2 owner. hehe. This post has been edited by Matrix: Apr 22 2012, 02:18 PM

QUOTE(destEX @ Apr 22 2012, 02:19 PM) exactly, i cannot understand why ppl compare a flagship model with another flagship model 1 yr older. like that might as well compare with 3310 Yeah, i am very satisfied with the SGS2 and see no need to upgrade for years to come. More storage than i can handle, excellent screen, can handle any apps, and just the right size for me. I am not interested in anything bigger...which seems to be the trend for flagship phone...now at 4.7"... Why lar....my hands not growing any bigger...
