Pioneer p80prs

Hi Zennn,

So if really go for a custom vented box, for 12" woofer in a saloon car Proton Iswara any idea for the size if I want for a good punching & tight bass.

Changing to alpine or pioneer amp wont give you so much diff. Maybe you can get focal, zapco, genesis, audison etc for your range to really appreciate the diff.

BTW p80prs is like rm1.8k (i think). But it'll serve you well.

Now drop price liao gua.i c got 1 guy selling 1.3+k in forum. But not sure is msia set or singapore set la

Your situation is a bit odd.

Changing your HU will definitely improve a lot, would suggest Pioneer P80PRS. It is entry level HU also.... for some lar.

But do mind about your amp too, cannot go too loud. Won't the 2000w spoil your Morel ah?

Only if I am given a 2000w amp, I wonder what I will do...hmmm.

That 2000w must be peak kua. As long as the gain is set properly i dun think will spoil anything. If at all prolly the amp will die first.
My choice would be to go for HU change. BTW the HU panel available at Aiman Bangsar rm110+ last time.

Just curious, seen any 2000W RMS Amp before? Very curious how it will sound and what the rated Peak will be... mmm 10,000Watt and also brigeable to reach what level at what Ohm....???? really curious.... Think can really kill speaker that not measure up....
Howie got the panel for me.. more expensive than Aiman but he gave me his personal guarantee that its up to his "standard" ...
I also dont do up the A Pillar... just use a silver cup for the tweeter... designed by EA again... half way hanging... look like Turbo-boost... hahahaha....

I think in the ice world to achieve that can get 2 biji 2000wrms@2 ohm monoblock to kick your mids. Maybe 9in mids but definitely doable.
That tweeter cup nice la, wich my tweets got cup to live in.

Use the amp 1st la. Unless you go for a rm2.5k amp, you wont feel much diff.

best to use all the budget on upgrading hu.
no point diluting the investment into hu n amp. end up everything neither here nor there.
good hu + spent many hours on tweaking/tuning = sure satisfying results..cant go wrong

6months or a year later- upgrade amp n etc.. in stages

to achieve 'audio nirvana', its a journey. have fun along the way n enjoy the ride

2000w, for me I am just assuming it is 2k RMS...

I think DMX should be roughly there if running 2ohm.

Anyway, that's not the point lar...

If you're not fussy about ICE and don't plan on upgrading to psychotic levels like Krayden, then any Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood or Pioneer that's within your budget range will be good enough. Go to a reputable accessory shop like EA Autoworks, CV Audio, etc and tell them your budget. They'll recommend based on what they have and installation usually is in their price.

Unless you plan on DIY-ing, there's no point listening to these master anaconda poisoners like Mywifecar, Quazacolt and all. Cuz once you kena poison, there's no turning back.........

2 biji 2000wrms kicking mid in our type of ride... think SPL level will be really bad for our ears..... add 2 more for sub use... think kaca also pecah...... Dont know the car alternator/battery can generate enough power to run 4 biji 2000wrms....
For your tweeter think need bowl.. can see if Oldtown willing to sell you a set to put your tweet.....

A better HU give you better option later when you upgrade ICE. More processing power and more output. ICE is a journey and its better to have an idea your future plan. Or else you be limited with your choice or need to spent more money on things that you could have done earlier (learning curve problem).
Lastly go to a installer that have done your model of car before, ask them if they done before as each car have their own set of complications. Your GX can look up EA or Audiocreation. They done before....
