30 JAN - AEON called me back, saying the cheque is rejected by PBB, due to incorrect account number, i double check on the BT form, its correct, plus PBB statement attached together with BT form, how can it be wrong? they will call me for a new account.

It is for new and existing card holder as well. If you are an existing card holder of Citibank, you just need to apply for additional card to enjoy this BT. OMG I had 4 Citibank CC in my pocket now!

one question. this kind of "new" cardholder rate, is it will last forever or for limited time?

Should be limited time i guess, this 1% BT from citibank introduced on OCT 2012 and said to be end 31 DEC 2012 but seem like other ppl still able to apply...so this BT will last forever? we don't know, haha.

Guys..having a bit of a problem concerning aeon BT. I applied for BT last month..I think i did stated here earlier. but stil havent shown on my M2u. I called Aeon CS and they told me dat it is approved on 25/1/2013. N she said that the cheque is cleared yesterday. So my question would be..whut is the meaning of cleared?does dat mean the amount is already paid to maybank?but i juz check through m2u but no update on payment yet.Or cleared means dat maybank juz received the cheque?who should i cal to clarify?aeon or maybank?

U can call maybank CS to confirm whether they receive the cheque or not.
The payment update on M2U may not be so fast.

When was the cheque cleared ?
Add 1-2 days to check in Maybank or call Maybank CS to check current outstanding balance.

07 JAN - Faxed to AEON, and received call from them on the same date.
08 JAN - Appeared in AEON online banking
26 JAN - It's still nothing on PBB account, so called AEON to check status, but they told me to call back on Tuesday as account/finance dept is not working today.
29 JAN - Call to AEON, they gave me tracking number and cheque number to cross check with PBB... Called back to AEON again to request them issue another cheque, they will check with the courier company first n update me.

06 FEB - Saw it appears as float balance in my PBB account

Aeon CS told me cheque cleared on 6th February.Ok..juz checked on m2u.cleared already..targeting on next BT :+p
