I called Cimb CS. Requested them to ask their CC Retention Dept to call me and offer me 6mth 0% BT. Just trying my luck. They really called me and offered me 6mths 0% BT. Free credit... Woo Hoo... rclxm9.gif

At the same time, my Aeon CC just got approved. Another 6mths 0% BT on the way. Haha... Thank you tkt and tct here for the infos shared.... Grateful.... thumbup.gif

I hold premier card form other bank (Visa Signature from CIMB), but when applied for BSN card, got rejected... Dunno Y?? blink.gif There goes my BT.... cry.gif

BT for those Cimb CC who want to cancel their card is limited to 60% of their CL and its one-time only...

BT using Aeon CC can collect points at this moment(while promotion lasts).
Rm5000 transferred can collect points to exchange RM20 Aeon Voucher. Not bad for "free credit. No other Bank gives points for BT, not that I know of... Thumbs up for Aeon BT... thumbup.gif

Yes, its for 'new' appication only, and its 60% of credit limit, that's the terms written BUT if you call their customer service and manage to speak to the card retention department stating you want cancel you card, then request them to offer you 0% - 6 mths BT, you might get it.

I went to Bank Affin & Bank Islam, wanted to apply their cc for BT, but sadly both Bank don't offer 6mths 0% BT anymore...
Does anyone know any other Bank stil offer 0% BTs????

Price Solution from Stan Chart called me offering me 0% 12 mths BT, thru new cc Translucent Visa
However there is rm 8 fee per mth for the card (Annual fee pd mthly)
Intend to do rm13k BT, so rm96(8x12) work out to be 0.738% p.a.
That's not too bad....

Just did BT using Std Chart Tranlucent Card.
12 mth 0%, but there's a rm8 fee /mth for the card.
So, max out the 50% of Credit limit for the BT.... biggrin.gif

I walked into Affin Bank Branch in Usj when i passed by the other day,
The banking officer kept on telling me NO such offer(0% BT for any duration),
I even asked him few times to confirm. Such a useless bugger!!!n vmad.gif
Simple things also cannot or dun care to handle properly.
The officer looks quite quite senior, prolly mid thirties or early forties....,
After i cfm-ed w the tky & tct here, i dun bother to go back there!!!!

Doesn't make sense at all kos that will take up to 21 days for card to be approved, another 21 days for BT.
Appealed thru their CS, then was asked to submit forms for 6mths 0% BT, and it was approved !!! icon_idea.gif
