Trying to BT from PBB to AEON, but I think there is an issue here.


07 JAN - Faxed to AEON, and received call from them on the same date.
08 JAN - Appeared in AEON online banking
26 JAN - It's still nothing on PBB account, so called AEON to check status, but they told me to call back on Tuesday as account/finance dept is not working today.

Will keep you guys updated, i got a feeling its gonna be a nightmare as probably would ding dong here and there.
Lesson learned, banks that use GIRO is definitely better than cheque for me.

I called Cimb CS. Requested them to ask their CC Retention Dept to call me and offer me 6mth 0% BT. Just trying my luck. They really called me and offered me 6mths 0% BT. Free credit... Woo Hoo...

At the same time, my Aeon CC just got approved. Another 6mths 0% BT on the way. Haha... Thank you tkt and tct here for the infos shared.... Grateful....

about the other bank credit card statement that we need to attached together with the balance transfer application form when we apply for balance transfer of MBB...

can I just print my outstanding from the internet banking even though the credit card hvnt reach statement date?

29 JAN - Call to AEON, they gave me tracking number and cheque number to cross check with PBB... Called back to AEON again to request them issue another cheque, they will check with the courier company first n update me.

you can try call mbb and see if they accept that. do let us know

haha...my statement date is 8 Feb and 8 Feb is near CNY...scare BT process will be late...just suddenly think of it and hoping for quick answer...

nvm...will go to ask after work...

or anyone hv experience with MBB BT? how long it usually takes them to process and payment?

Noob in BT here..I have about 8K of debt in CC that I plan to transfer to Aeon BT..but I don't think that I'll be able to clear all after 6 months..what's going to be the rate like after 6 months? What to do next? find another 0% BT and repeat the process?

What's the credit limit you can get from aeon? Normally allow bt 80% of your available credit

You will be charged normal cc rate if you can't pay in full every month

I haven't applied yet..my current CC limit is 10K..Another question is..I currently serving 2 Citibank BT + Installment..with combine interest rate of 9.9% (BT + Installment) Is it possible for me to terminate the installment and BT that to another bank?

installment as in those buy big things got 0% installment?

most banks will only allow BT upon seeing the amount in your due amount of your statement

so if you still owe citibank BT & installment but it is not reflected in your credit card yet, then you can't BT those amount (not yet charged to your cc)

I did a BT from Maybank and it's also turned into an installment of 36 months..so I guess cancelling the installment will show the full amount in the Citibank CC and then I guess I can BT that amount to AEON?

Maybe cancellation of the installments will show all you owe in your next statement. If yes then can bt all to another bank . But normally they will charge cancellation fee but some don't

Just ask citibank lor if cancel how it is handled
