Based on my previous experience, very hard to get asw2020 after the dividend payment. Why? because a lot of people with the same thinking "others would withdraw" mentality would Q or wait the whole day "trying". also don't forget the "background transaction" activity.

if you can prove the legitimacy of the money, yes, why not?

ASB is maximum 200k.

Hi Guys,

Actually which one of the account types return the most?

if I was not mistaken ASN returned 11%++ last year and ASB only 8.95%.

does that mean I should invest more in ASN?

SOS:

pls read carefully what ASN is.

in ASB, 1 unit = RM 1.00. it's fixed

in ASN, 1 unit can be = RM 0.85, can also be RM 0.90, can also be RM 0.70

so a 11% dividens for ASN is effectively only 5 - 6% return on your investment capital in monetary term

since you are a bumiputra, you are blessed with many other options like AS1M and ASW2020. ASN / ASG and any other floating fund should be your last resort smile.gif

for any cash transactions more than 50k, you will need to fill up a form to declare that the income source and purpose of deposits

it's just a formality. i filled once and left the date & amount section blank and let the banks photocopy as many as they want. i put down my work as "office / errand boy" laugh.gif
