Careful with cut version, if there's uneven or sharp parts, it can easily damage the sim reader in the phone.... and... you will need to change the whole board.
It's a BIG and EXPENSIVE risk for some low cost replacement SIM.

damn, first day bought it, no stock to exchange, now i've to go to NCC to get it fixed the purple screen... WTH! it's a repeated problem, it already haunted many N8, now this one again... quality drops...

Had 5 mins of play time at Curve earlier. too bad I am a tall guy and the short security strap was hindering me lol.

Anyway, first impression was good for the cam. Responsive, great quality and colour balance. Not so sure about the lossless zoom though.

Purple tinted is not very obvious except if the video is dark or when brightness too low. Just use higher brightness. Question is how is the battery life like?

agreed. but i do saw 808's screen is more brighter than N8 but not sure about its contrast

minus the purple tinge, my N8 is great when viewing it from any angle!

sigh pavilion nokia say FINISH already the phone . only got the LUMIA 900 (im not impress . its just a wide phone sigh ) anyway the phone i tested . the picture snap quality is nice but the APPS SUCKS big time .. to bad the phone FINISH . and they said malaysia nokia only release 1000 phone for the phone limited . sigh ...

okay, done cutting my sim card to micro...take ages,,
the phone cover is good, feel good and grip well. only the back side is a little bit scare to open up...to put in those micro sim card like the old days. the phone is basically like n8, run on belle, which is a lot faster and smoother, bigger screen...probably will wait for a better software update, and see wht 1.3ghz can really do. in the end, I'm satisfied with the phone, not like out of the world phone kind of, but it is the phone i need.

ok guys, i just added 4 pictures to the group...remember i'm not a pro, still learn to get comfortable with the phone setting and the phone itself. time taken is near 7pm. Pureview 5meg, less thn a megabyte size.

i also tempted with lumia 900, really smooth and with beautiful interface...but then a lot of feature still lacking, probably market strategy.

Get it from Mines Nokia Retail Store outlet. I have just been to that place. They have stock for black colour Nokia 808. You may try it out too if you ask. The tripod has not arrived so you will get your tripod later when the shipment arrived.
I think Nokia Retail outlet at Mines probably still have quite a number of units in stock.

Haha make it simple it makes Xperia S + HTC One X + SGS III camera all combine together a joke when compare to Nokia 808 Pureview in camera performance.
