for forum, just need to put the code after v=, no need the full link.

e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBtqSRsVkBc

just put the code "rBtqSRsVkBc" instead of the whole you tube link

try and see...

fan tried to grab his bottle as souvenir... got grabbed by robbie instead... at least he had the courtesy of giving it to a young fan instead....

yes, yes and yes..........

I weigh 240lbs and if any of the spokes are even slightly out of tune...... I will hear a ping or twang before it breaks. Safe to say its cheaper to replace the R7s then the xero's.

I will pass on the 3D rotors.....oval rings are still in....interesting.

The Giant as is...is already plenty light from where I am coming from. My old steel framed bike is lighter then the alu Trek (bout 22lbs or more)

My experience moving from my old steel bike to a more modern alu frame was frightening, so much so the Trek stayed in after less then 10km's ride. And I was on a second set of Araya's on the steelie.

Swapping in a second hand set of current model 105 grouppo for new is from a terrible habit of saving which I earned from starving when I was younger.

The purchase is not set in stone, my mind wanders.....KHS....POLYGON...MTB?....as is I am just really worried about the ride more then anything. Anyone know any 'local' forums that can shed more light on this ?

As you can see I am a hopeless data hoarder....cannot move forward without enough data.

....

I read about Lance by chance when he was just starting out without a team. He had the highest recorded tolerance of lactic acid in North America.

.....

The doc outfit guy, I would have clocked him sooner then later. How is one able to tell the road with the crowd ?

as far as i can tell you... the R7s isn't exactly the most reliable wheel out there... i own a pair of the 1st gen ones which uses the j-turn spokes.. the current one uses a straight pull one... and i broke hell lots of drive side spokes without much reasons... if you are worried about wheel reliability... i suggest you get a pair of 32-spoke set with mavic open pro... a properly build set of wheels will last very long up till the rims wear out...

was jokin about the rotors... it's not for most people...

i dunno how much you can save by swapping a 2nd hand set of 105 grouppo..and you risk it havin unforeseeable problems... i am not saying you need to build the most perfect bike in the world... but saving money this way might not be too worth it in the long run...

furthermore, if you take a look how much a set of 2nd hand 105 costs in BBS and how much you think you can sell it it making a profit swapping a new for 2nd hand group... that's like saying buying a brand new vios and swapping in an engine lantai from the chop shop so you can sell your new one for a profit...

that is the reason lance adopted the high cadence methods after he recovered from his chemo after teaming up with michele ferrari...

O_O on the R7s, maybe I should sell those too.......anyone tried the made in sillypore SOUL ?

the groupset....only the BB is sticking (which I freed up with some silicone spray) but I doubt I can use it or want to use it since it is cheap to replace.

the rest of the items albeit with some cosmetic scratches they look ok......gigi masih baik =P , chain is tight as should be, mechs ummmm as mechs should be.

BBS prices up and down, 2nd hand off of new bike price is about RM1100 to 1200, new new set ..there is one nut job asking for RM1900 something. Not sure whats what in the shops.

What la enjin lantai.......put celica 1.8 enjin mah....manual gearbox mah....then get Robbisport suspension for it mah...then..... icon_question.gif

FYI I dont have my legs....yet. Doing squats to bring back it to 10% of their former glory. And die of lactic burn after 5 minutes doh.gif

it depends on your luck... you might have no problems... or you might... but i'd say trust no lightweight wheels unless they are the classic types... the lightweight wheels that i think would be reliable would only be the Easton EA70 and EA90SLs.. they at least have 28 spokes rear and 24 up front to support the loads...

well, as long as you have confidence in your 2nd hand set... a new 105 (not from OEM bikes) should be around RM2k.. if you can squeeze RM1.5k out of your sale while buying at under RM1k for a 2nd hand set.... you might earn some... profit only RM200-RM300... might as well call it off since the BB and worst, chain might already write off the profit easily and you end up with a set that is not cosmetically unscathed...

makes a new bike feel like used... if you get my drift...

since so extreme... you might as well find ways to put in a 2JZ mated to a six speed sequential and convert it to an RWD vios... and propped up by castor/camber/body height adjustable tein race shocks... it'll be a first in malaysia... stop dreaming, it's monday already...

Soul sounds funky... but USD430 for an aluminum frame in group buy don't sound exactly cheap...although it has BB30 BB which is not common in alloy frames...

you try to convert the oakley'ers into rudy project'ers is it... some more give people potong stim by saying closed today...

how to mix century ride with 120KM ride? 160KM + 120KM or 120KM within 160KM... united chick cyclists sounds tempting now... but driving to ipoh to ride with chicks does not...you can't have everything can you...

sick? too much happy endings in PD eh??? told you that you are supposed to carbo load.. not carbo over-load...

i mixed all things in 1 sentence ma...

i mean thousand of cyclists :

1st group: Ride Ipoh Century ride
2nd group: Pirate Ipoh Century ride
3rd group: P2K with UCI do their own 120KM ride, no idea what route the chick cyclist will bring !! haha

actually i'm start not feeling well on Thurs le, Friday morning can feel fever is coming, i kept drinking lot of water to cool down body.

anyway, PD Tri is an eye opening... so many chicks to wash eye...

Maybe this weekend, cycling ride become makan-makan trip instead... icon_rolleyes.gif

btw, i'm 1st time see-ing Rudy Project sunglasses for 1st time ma... test wear it... hehe... Sharing is caring ma... if i no mentions Today the shop is closed, people will disappointed. Let them plan for tomorrow instead. Are you going to visit the shop today, if i did not mention it's closed today? hehe....

i had something that looked like this... dunno wat model they are..

user posted image

but with this lens below instead of the one on top... bought them way back when the Endah Parade mall first opened in Sri Petaling... can't remember it was the late 90s or 2000s... a guy opened a stall with this babies and i bought them thinking they were quite nice looking and they have not so heavily tinted lens...

user posted image

after that only i knew that ullrich was wearing them when i watched the tour on ESPN on megaTV back then... and i was laughing my ass off at those oakley donning idiots for spending a whole RM450 on a M-Frame that keeps snapping and getting broken...

user posted imageoakley donning idiot in foreground
user posted image

i kinda like the pair i owned although i didn't know whether it was authentic or fake... no broadband or internet at home back then... yes, i was that tech lousy... most prob there is no rudy project site as well..

i like it that it has a moldable or somewhat slightly flexible, i dunno what you guys call it.. the 2 batang that clamps onto your head... and the part where you can slightly push and adjust it so that it fits nicely on your nose bridge...

only pair of shades i got back then and i treasured (100bucks is freakin hard to save up back then for an idiot in school) it to the point that i wear it so seldom as i was afraid i would damage it... now, it's just lost in the pile of junk in my house...

actually... true story is..although i thought the lens was not tinted too dark... but it still felt like it turned the bright day into night for me when i wear it.. always go ulu yam those days to play at waterfall... and the descents are very hard to deal with if cannot see road... so, i ditched it...and even if i brought it out... i didn't wear it...

DAMMIT... you didn't warn me on that... else, i would've TTed my ass over there on sunday morning to look at those chicks...

chicks nowadays i think a bit "sot" plug adi... all like to take part in this extreme sporty sporty stuff... whatever happened to the anorexic chicks and those tight ass stair master chicks?
