some forumers here really weird. sign or not should let the customer decide. not because the agent think it is good then even lying also can lah.

QUOTE(MUM @ May 28 2022, 05:19 AM)
I would not label he / she is an dishonest agent just like that.
Gives him/her some benefits of doubt... For she may not know, miscommunication from source etc.
Why not ask him/her to directly confirm that requirement with his/her HQ? Tell tell you the results again?
*
lol...
my whole family insurance bought from him/her. every month doing nothing take commission only yet still can be so unprofessional? lebih baik resign je.
benefit of doubt? already give lah. first ask him/her will this affect my premium in future, he/she tell me won't affect. really ingat i am stupid don't know read english is it? i rejected to sign.
2nd time come tell me it is better to sign just in case need covid claim, i still rejected.
3rd time come tell me it is compulsory must sign otherwise my insurance will be terminated.
LOL...

So what you gonna do next?
Still stick to the same agent?
Heard in the forum before, you can seek to request a change of servicing agent.

Not scare next time if got claim issue, she can still be "unprofessional" as you had experienced it now

Since the commission is already a to be paid issue...you cannot chance that.
I think, What is more important is when you got claim issue in future
Not afraid of still getting "unprofessional" service, action or communication that you had just experienced now?

But you mentioned that your whole family insurance bought from him/her....
Terminate all?
Just do note of some disadvantages of buying a new policy.... Waiting period and Contestability Period are some issues of concern

My agent came and give me a form below named Revision in Exclusion Clause Reply Slip.

[attachmentid=11160403]

After i read, i decided to not sign it but my agent tell me it is compulsory? Is this true?
*
Previously Covid hospitalization is not covered?

Why u dont want to sign anyway? Because afaik insurance companies can (conlanfirm will) revise the premium anyhow regardless u sign or not, u cant do anything except to lower the claim value (if possible) if u dont want to pay more.

ys671 Yes , change agent is relatively easy , just need to fill up transfer form with customer signature + new agent signature.
you do not need existing agent signature or consent.

However , unfortunately , previous commission all fall back to old agent.

Hi all, I would like to check with you guys about this issue.

I purchased PRUWith You insurance at June 2020, and then I got informed that my premium will be increase another RM20 starting from June 2022. I asked my agent about it and my agent inform me that it's the promotion Prudential gave me before the "inflation". The price of my premium will be increased after 2 years of my "purchased".

I'm wondering, still there such a promotion/case?

No such thing as a promotion. Your agent is smoking you with lies.

HAHA , lol ....I don't recall there is such promotion in 2020. Basically your premium will keep increase in the future due to medical revision. There is no fixed on how frequently or how much they will increase , but they will inform upfront to you first if they increase and the reason why they increase, you have to decide later whether to continue with the increase or perform policy editing to reduce price/coverage if you want.

Btw always look for official announcement on promotion such as below :
