RM0.00 Prudential: xxxxxxxx Click https://pruaccessplus.prudential.com.my/ss/y/xxxxxxxzzz to extend your medical plan expiry date up to age 100!

Recently got an SMS to offer coverage untill age 100. With no premium adjusted. Too good? Can't think of any reason to opt out.
Any idea?

T&C available within the link.

Basically if in the future too much COVID claim, Prudential will need to re-adjust the premium accordingly.

That's all.

Do you recommend opting in?

Is there any way to check what is the age coverage for our current policy, apart from contacting agent? Thank you

I asked because my ILPS statement already stated this but still received the SMS offer: Policy Expiry Age: Until 100 age next birthday

Sounds good if you need that COVID 19 coverage. Just remember that you may need to share the cost with the others as well if there is a high claim ratio.

You may log into your prudential account to check. Another option is call the customer service and they'll check for you.

Hi, would like to ask about GL issuance in two hospitals.

I went to hospital A for consultation and paid the consultation fee myself while waiting for the GL to issue. Then the surgery is arranged next week.

Due to some reasons, I decided to switch to hospital B for surgery, could I still get GL for hospital B? I have not made any claim yet under hospital A but they said they have got the GL and they can perform the surgery already. Up till today all the fees I have paid myself.

Hi, do you know if the consultation fee can be claimed as well?

My perspection is I can only claim consultation fee only if we are hospitalised? Then after we are hospitalised then we can back claim the initial consultation fee?

You may need to get the insurance company to re-issue the GL with Hospital B.
