If it is a good car, you will be looking at a long term ownership. If you are already thinking about selling the car even before buying, it is like buying the car not because it is good but buying the car as a stop gap for something better. In this case it looks like buying the car not because you wanted it but because you want to minimize your losses.

zweimmk, the 2 litre u tested, was it fd or fb? U put it 2.0 S, i forgot fd or fb. Hehe.

If fd i think okay la.because the double cam sure bit quiet.but fb got single cam which is going to be a bit noisy.i hope they insulate the cabin well no excessive sound can go in.

Gone to possibly all SCs i familiar with in the northern region.apart from Formula Venture butterworth - they got one unit running, it is on trade plate, wonder why but crazy que - i cant find any test drive cars.

Added on July 21, 2012, 9:49 amselling the car doesnt necessarily an indication of it is not a good car. For example, upgrade. Family members adding up. Keeping with times. Downgrading. Etc etc. Actually it has never been any relation between selling a car (with good resale value) and that car is not good. If that car is no longer good, thats another story lah.
So when the time come for whatever reason of getting a new vehicle, of course resale value does matter (unless u are keeping the car)

If it is not a good car then dont buy it in the first place .

But it is a bad omen in my close circles to talk about selling something even before u buy it. That i agree on fully.

Why you want to get an expensive no power hybrid car? How much this civic PONDAN car compare others hybrid?

Spec is better in Hybrid (add RM4k). Other Hybrid car cause RM14Xk++.
Insight and Jazz is smaller and HB. Should not insult any car as Pondan or whatever as choice is down to each different individual. Choice must not be undermined. Thanks. =)

Yes, I m insulting the hybrid civic as PONDAN car. I seeing civic as associated with speed and power. As traditional Honda civic manufacturing. But now, put some lower power engine, some heavy battery in a great car?

As i know RHB islamic offer ecotint tinted for selected model only.. unlucky civic was not selected.

If you haven't noticed already, Japanese manufacturers are moving towards electric and hybrid. The Civic is just another casualty of this green environment and Eco movement. It's going to continue this way for years to come so deal with it

Tested the new civic 2012. Indeed it looks better in real than picture. Comfort level is good...nvh is betterthan my current city. Should be getting my civic by next week.

I know Honda will go hybrid way back 2005. Even you never heard of it that time. My company is making machine for making hybrid engine part. Than following Honda exit F1 where is surprise everyone.. Honda start not to dream for chasing power car. Instead green. Have you follow this?

But why not leave civic alone and create a new line of hybrid car? Just like Toyota. They don't put hybrid on altis, etc. instead they create new line hybrid car like Prius and now Prius C.

Civic 2.0s...accord is good but cant afford it yet

Had a dealer appraise the 07 city and can get 45k. Loan still pending bank approval now as docs only submitted on Thursday. SA told us if want the car fast just switch to white as it is ex-stock but going to stick to silver coz less hassle in cleaning. Arrival expected end of this month but may delay taking the car until 2nd week of August because of loan payment dates.

The unit tested was a non navi 2.0s, if not mistaken, all civics now SOHC. Personally, I think it's good enough for all intents and purposes

Added on July 22, 2012, 8:38 amActually I already know coz my bro in law works as a supplier for Honda as well. They supply the gasket and oil filters. Anyway, The trend will continue this way for years to come with more hybrid options.
