U will know the difference if u drive both car n tackle the same corner wit the same pace..

Inspira suspension softer than lancer..
*
you are right.

stock suspension for inspira costs about rm500 full set vs rm2000 full set for lancer biggrin.gif

true.

modern sports cars are more expensive, like the new ft86 that's coming or even the hot hatch subaru impreza or the megane coupe.

drivers will be drivers.
when u have a powerful car
when u are alone at night
when the roads are clear

don't u feel the urge to step and VROOOOOOM all the way? I do.

but i don't want that to happen. i want to enjoy the scenery, enjoy the ride. hahahaha

soo drama right? tongue.gif

laugh.gif  i will see how high i could score on my FC instead. will try to hit a 20km/l but nevertheless its hard to maintain at that range. normally it will be around 12-18km/l. Spirited driving can go as low as 0.04 km/l but happens when i'm in the need for speed.
*
i rather eye on my speed meter to get higher score..... lol...... only eye on fc meter if i cannot afford to pump petrol rolleyes.gif

Buying Proton is a downgrade regardless of what of CC! And dont try to associate lancer with inspira. Just like china iphone with apple iphone. U mean everything else is MITSU? U wan me post campro picture?..There is no spirited driving in this car as vios can oso taopao inspira as claim by an inspira owner.

as mentioned, spirited driving is what people coin for speed. but spirited driving (like to me) also means "first love driving"/ chor lin drive

which u embrace the car and just cruise.

we know performance and fuel consumption increase go hand in hand.
even my honda city, people always talk around 14km/l for vtec. i drive around 12-12.5km/l because i always go above 3k rpm but that's nto an issue to me.

behind the wheel, some drivers want to feel that the car is meant for them only, not the passengers.
*
Simple....Test drive the 308T...floor the pedals and corner real hard...if you dare tongue.gif

guys i think u are all moving in the wrong direction.

money i can get a little more expensive if i wanted to but i think that wouldn't be so practical.

my parents wouldn't want me to drive sports car and my family knows the deceased of a recent R34 that crashed and the passengers dead and car broke into half news just before Chinese New year

If a Honda crashed liek the R34... it wont break into half?

People keep saying sportscar are dangerous .... why? Most sports car have more safety features then your average sedans... those thinking is just ridiculous..

seriously forte not for spirited driving but a good commuter..n from honda city to forte is like downgrading..just like if u buy proton..n since u mention fd is already in ur home..the last option for a branded japanese is altis..lancer is like inspira but honestly lancer is much better handling in stock compare to inspira..looks good too but inspira spoilt the party!

308t is just nice..power is good..good tech..sharing the same engine wit mini's..people bad mouth about this car none other than becos of NAZA..period..

Those old impreza n evos are serious car..within ur budget an its practical too..

it's the perfect driving position. if u want high seating u don't buy a sports car, if u want a good handling car u don't buy a high seating car.

TS,
For new cars
- Ford Fiesta
- Inspira 1.8 Manual

Used
- Mazda 6 MPS (not sure if M'sia has this)
- Caldina GT4
- Swift Sport A/M
- Skylines, Evo Lancers n Scoobys (but agree tat maintainin them will b significantly different than ur fuel sipping VTEC)
- 308THP
- Satria GTI/Neo R3

Personally I'll get d 1.8 Inspira manual, coz its new (warranty n risk), very potential even in stock form, practical without asking too much on maintenance n has plenty of after market stuff.

If used is considered, d Swift Sport n Caldina GT4 gets my vote for easier to source parts n common maintenance (1.6 in d SS is almost similar to d SX4 while d GT4's 3SGTE as to d Camry/Celica's 5S/3S although both need higher octane rating than ron95)

Of course theres plenty of used higher performance cars out there but one cannot help weighing d risk on their age n y d previous owners wanna let these 'fun' cars go in d 1st place. Hunt around n u'll understand y.
