thank you. always remember to lock my car biggrin.gif

my next question is, what is the proper way to start the car?
before this what i've done is
-open door, step on brake pedal then push the button, immediately engine start

my brother say
-open door, push start button (without step on brake pedal), then push again the start button so that all electronic is powered on,wait for the airbag light to turn off, then step on brake pedal and push button, engine start.

will my electronic part damage if i immediately start my engine without wait for the light indicator?
*
I have no answer for this as I am not expert, just a typical car user (I do know some cars, the procedure is to wait till the airbaglight turn off before starting the engine).
I start the car using the 1st method, my car already 1 year.
Another bro here, Izputra, he mentioned he uses method 1 and his car already 2 years.
I believed either way is OK.

But if you are worry, then u can use the 2nd method to start the car.

I use method 1 icon_rolleyes.gif First forte I test drive, SA taught me method 2. 2nd and 3rd test drive (different showrooms), the SA taught me method 1 tongue.gif

But take note that the more time you push start, the faster your button spoils whistling.gif I heard every year have to change 1 time the button. Correct me if I'm wrong

Well, my uncle is a mechanic and he says all these "waiting" is just ppl's believes. Not proven one unsure.gif Just like break-in. He also said that before the car delivered to showroom, car manufacturers have revved the car to the max already lolx

i dun think this one matters..but method 2 will most likely spoil the button faster..need to press so many times..tongue.gif

My iphone can pair with my car through Bluetooth. Didn't the SA teach you how to pair it to your iphone? You need to pair it with password, but i forgotten what is the password. And you dare to kacau the wiring to install the lockteck so soon after you got your new car? biggrin.gif

Hi bro. I have planning to install the lockteck brake lock. But i worry it will kacau the wiring and void warranty? Is the installation required to cut wire or need to disable anything?
