looks like the new HU have a few problems with detecting audio files from the USB. Tried by putting 24 songs inside. First startup it will detect instantly... but after you turn off your engine and start back again, the HU will hang and display "loading audio files" and it will just be there forever till you switch off the HU and unplug the USB, switch on the HU and go back to "music" folder, press USB and let it show "no files detected", plug back your USB and let it scan again.

Gotta do this everytime. Meaning if u driving and stop by rest house and take a piss... then u wanna continue ur journey, the player will just hang.

the solution:

song/artis name not more than 30 characters
USB/pendrive recommanded use 8 gb and below ( format it to FAT) not fat16 or 32 just FAT. solve all the problems, it can replay to last song and duration u stopped when u restart it.

Whats the safety rating for this car (1.6SX or 2.0) . 1.6 has 2 airbag only right?

Does Kia car have a good safety record?

It's common problem for 4 speed or 6 speed models.. Me and my frens have switched to use HID instead of normal halogen bulbs. Problem solved for us and we r happy using HID with 4300k temperature.

Hi bro. You changed your headlamp to 4300k HID. How about the fog lamp and the 2 small bulbs beside the headlamp? Is the HID headlamp & the small bulbs brightness & color matched?

I'm using 6000k on my foglamp and and white for d small T10 bulbs. Brightness definitely will be different bro coz 1 is T10 led, headlamp is using HID. You may have a look at the photo below:

I'm using 4300k coz dont wanna attract JPJ or PDRM, so far ok..no problem..no choice lo, you may don't use the small t10 bulbs, then won't look so ugly. If not u use 6000k, which is pure white, same colour as the t10 bulbs, then it wil b nice. But beware of JPJ or PDRM. Hehe

Chinese characters must be in simplify and not traditional. Try retype in properties.

Can use as long song name/title/artist are kept to below 30 alphaphet but it may take long time to load as the HU ram are low.

15 years warranty from who? I'm guessing the shop? Just want to highlight to everyone that these kinda warranty is kinda subjective coz if the shop close down, warranty also gone. Before going for any tints with "extended" warranty, first ask, how long their shop established already. More often than not, they open not even close to the amount of years they give warranty for smile.gif Just becareful ya wink.gif

And whats your IRR% anyway? smile.gif Curious

Oh, and I wanna add on.. Most important is the worker's workmanship. My advise is spend 20 mins watching them do their work. See how they do it. Tint film quality good no use when the workmanship is crap wink.gif
*
For info, the 15 years warranty given is by Coolworld for its Security Film Series, not the "Extended Warranty" by the shop or branch,...Its standard if you go to all coolworld branches.. And this brand already established not only in automotive tinting, but also in building tinting, and they almost 10 years in Malaysia.. nod.gif

Even so, I'm also not going to spend my hard earned money just to buy something that I'm not sure if it not match or exceed the amount invested..and some more, prior deciding to install this brand, I have done enough research about tinted, I even tabled out from no brand to the reputable brand to make a like to like comparison...From technical spec, TSER, IRR, VLT, UVR, Thickness, all info I gathered, and also done enough research to understand those technical spec.. rolleyes.gif

IRR% is the infrared rejection percentage, in normal layman term, it is the percentage the tint film ability to reject the heat, the higher the better.. however, this figure which normally marketed by the tint shop is merely misleading customer, because IRR% calculation is too complex and they even can come out with what figure they want..meaning to say, all manufacturer come out with their own calculation (inconsistent mathematical variables) and then publish the figure to consumer..and the some saying using TSER% is merely close for heat rejection and I found somewhere online that this is the industrial standard.. however not all tint company is willing to publish this TSER% to customer.. I wonder why but I dun want to jump to conclusion, however coolworld have no problem to publish the TSER %.. and good heat rejection if TSER is above 60%.. rclxub.gif

Agreed workmanship is the most important, even will get 15 yrs warranty, I watched them installing the tint round the clock tongue.gif Worry for my babe..
Even can change after discover the problem later, who like re-work? its only wasting time.. And the good thing before you tint, ask the shop whether they need to open your car panel.. if they need to open panel, then they are not pro enough.. and you might be at risk of loosing your car warranty whistling.gif And when I surveyed, they are few tintshop require window panel to be opened for FORTE.. avoid this kind of shop.. and dun forget to ask how long they need to install the tinting film.. If 2 hours and more, then avoid this shop icon_idea.gif

Yup, you are right, but not mistaken coolworld is local brand right? Quite long in the market already. But the number of years they warranty you sometimes I feel is bullcrap also lar. Like you said, if got problem, who so free keep sending to them? Then have to leave your car there few hours rclxub.gif For me, good workmanship + trusted brand should be sufficient smile.gif 5 - 10 years warranty should be more than enough for anyone. I don't think you will keep a car longer than 10 years right? tongue.gif And also.. my tint is not jpj compliant, so sell car that time need to tear it off, thus having more than 10 years also no use ahaha
