I believe it's 70% light transmission (not 30%) as approved by JPJ for the front windscreen. 30% light transmission surely a dark one & can kena saman...

Hi all,

Just to share with you the latest information on the GPS from Naza Auto Solutions, the authorized supplier for the Forte Head Unit.

1) The warranty for the HU is 2 years or 50,000 Km whichever come first

2) Any installation of non genuine software (i.e Papago) will VOID the warranty!! Please beware as some ignorant SA are installing such software, not knowing that this action will render the warranty null and void!

3) For the SpeedNavi software, there is no time limit to its usage, as such you can use for as long as your HU is still functional. You only need to pay if you intend to download the latest map from their website, www.Speednavi.com. You need to erase the old map file and copy the new one into the SD card. If you need support to download the map, you can also go to Naza Auto Solutions showroom in PJ (beside Federal Highway)

Cheers,

Rgds,
KS Loh

Thanks for the info. Does this mean for point 3, if you intend to use GPS with old map, you need not to pay any rm60 for the subsequence years. I think we can share and download the map free from elsewhere.. good good..

Hi guys, just to share with you my 1 yr experience with my ride. I believe Forte is the best value for money ride for anything below RM100k. It has lots of cool features that Honda and Toyota can't offer to its customers. Even after 1 year down the road, I'm still loving my ride. I hv no regret in getting this ride:). Below are photos of my ride:

if not mistaken yes, most auto cars have this behaviour if not mistaken..is to prevent the driver from accidentally roll down or lunge forward (in D) when starting the car

Yes..it's true. Besides that, also need to press the brake pedal when starting the car unless u use the contingency/alternative method to start it (which is not recommended unless necessary) wink.gif

Ha..ha...for safety purpose, even though if manual transmission, u still need it to be in N to start or your car will go forward. You only engage gear 1 or 2 (this also if necessarily) if the clutch cable snapped or u need to push start.

alright thanks dude.

did you guys connect the locktact or locktech electronic-ly to the system so that the car cannot be started without unlock the lock? just worry it will void the warranty.
