Nope. One of the parcel contains music CDs worth RM200 using AirMail. The other 2 contained can drinks with fake invoice. The customs do not have a database of names and addresses. They just check and then decide to detain it or not.

Regarding the RM500, usually the parcels will get detain but I've read some posts here that they're luck to pass the customs

Some news, 2 of my parcels arrived yesterday since being shipped out on the 14th. Took almost 1 1/2 months. One of the boxes looked like it was steamrolled or something causing some damage to the items inside.

My package from HLJ came 2 weeks after I received their shipping notice. I used SAL. No damage to the package.

Two weeks is pretty quick for SAL. I'll be lucky to get mind in less than 3 weeks. 1 1/2 month should be a new record >_<

Anyone here know on the new MC ruling for toys. Planning to buy some items online from overseas for my own collection but with the new ruling do we have to get approval for the items. I am referring to resin kits and bandai gundams.

My parcel had show detained in custom PPL Johor Bahru.

Normally what kind of document should we prepare when go to custom office?

Invoice (if shipping+goods below RM500 for proof)..... and IC..... (shipping cost is usually stated)

Yesterday I had received a Letter from PPL Johor Bahru Kastam. The Letter requested to bring invoice and barang Kastam 1. The parcel is belong to myself, so I can provided the invoice only.....After reach there, and they asked what inside the parcel, so I say is the toy .. They instantly know is the Air Plane already. So take over by other person to handle this matter. After I bra..bra.. with the guy, and get some information. He askey got purchase transmitter or not, if have need send to SIRIM for approved. Lucky don't have. So please becareful next time if you order Transmitter and receiver from oversea, don't included too many thing to cause HUGE packing. They also say next time (don't know when) all import toy have to pay tax....

Oh. ..After bra..bra with the guy, and the cost is about us133, so no tax for this purchase..
They detained my parcel is due to the size is big (1.5M X 0.45 X 0.45)....
