Anyone have experience ordering stuffs from teenc@m and play-asia?
play-asia ships genuine products yes?

if only someone kind enough to give me a money->creditCard service >_<
*
Yes..Play-Asia sells EVERYTHING GENUINE! biggrin.gif

Ive already done about 10++ orders from them.
Nothing much to say..they provide coupons..but I dont really like their packaging.

They do protect CDs and Figures well but try not do order books from them ><

And try to inform them to add more bubble wrappers to protect your item..they can do it!

Their customer service is also good! And they provide a few shipping options..
As for Malaysia..they do provide FREE SHIPPING. But if kastam tahan then you're sorry..you kena tax laugh.gif

So far out of 10++ orders..only 1 package kena tax..considered lucky

And one more bad thing..they have limited stock for some items ><

One more thing..Lets say if you place an order no..your order will be shipped by 7pm or 8pm..very fast!

Added on February 25, 2007, 6:12 pmSo far for those of you who ordered stuffs from HLJ..can you please tell me the average shipping price?

Is the box they use for shipping strong?

Just saw this figure in HLJ Imari Bible Black.  Want to place a per-oder but just worried about Penang customs. They'd most likely screw me with taxes  mad.gif but do you guys think they'd allow it to pass.  unsure.gif
*
It should be around RM200 - RM220 including shipping EMS.

They cnanot tax you..but if they happen to open your parcel..they can say that the figure is explicit -.-

My fren kena before..eventhough its nothing explicit..just some resin which you need to paint ownself..

I want to order a Tamiya TA05 from

http://cgi.ebay.com/Genuine-Tamiya-RC-TA05...2QQcmdZViewItem

its based in Japan, will it kena tax? And if yes then how much will it be roughly, and how to pick up and where? because i have to ask a friend to buy for me as i have no credit card.

edited: I will use the Regular Japanese Postal Service which will cost 36 US, and i live in Malacca, will they deliver to your doorstep?
*
REGULAR?? I guess that means normal airmail..

If normal airmail..be prepared to kena tax if your parcel kena tahan. It can be waived if you tell them that its a gift from your fren from Japan..lolz

ok guys, i just came back from the Big damn Post Office of KLIA, in case you dont know how to get there, once u reached KLIA area, just follow the signboard of "Terminal LCC" or "Cargo", both lead u to the same place, hv to drive a bit though to reach there, then the big Post Office is easy to spot.

stop at the guard house, leave ur IC there and get a visitor pass, then drive ur car in and park at the "pelawat" parking lot, go into the row of counter and straight to counter 1(num printed in red), show the letter "tahanan" u got it earlier and get ur parcel.....later he will guide u where to go and pay, basically just go to counter by counter to check, and pay the tax....after paid the tax then get back the pass from counter 1 and go back.
throw back the pass to the guard and get ur IC back....and safe journey back to home, to me is back to office just now... flex.gif

according to the office who calculated how much i hv to pay, he told me that anything also they can tax, even sometimes tax u 10bucks u also hv to go there, although there is a small notice board told that some goods below rm200 is entitled to tax free, but again depends on whether they want to call u there and tax u...

a strange thing he told me, EMS shipment below rm200 got exemption, but if u get called by them u still hv to go there to fill up a stupid declaration form to get the tax free exemption...sigh..#$%^&*
for normal shipment, anything on any amount also they can tax u...

good luck... icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Then what about EMS??

RM200 also??

Coz I called the Pegarah Kastam..they say if use EMS and total charges below RM500..cannot kena tax eh..

I wanna clarify this..thanks

Have ordered few times through HLJ using SAL and nearly all went by smoothly except once where i was taxed 10+5 with item + shipping total up to less than RM500.... Either that Customs officer is in a bad mood, or i look like i have some extra cash to spend...    cry.gif
*
Coz you use SAL..

I'm talking about EMS here

I know..that's why i listed SAL instead of just replying..~ Coz since EMS usually costs double of SAL, i dont think Customs will lower down their tax tolerance due to faster shipping method..~

Jst hope you could have a rough idea on it..~  smile.gif
*
Its not because its faster and more expensive than SAL or Airmail.

Its something else..The Pengarah Kastam told me before..

I just got my package from HLJ today using SAL total was 267(including shipping)  got taxed 15% of that total.  He said for EMS tax will only be skip for less than RM 500.  But I was more worried about my Imari order, sure kena rampas one, now need to cancle my second HLJ order for Imari sad.gif.
Kastam are really pricks for imposing they hipocartic moral values on me.

Has anyone from http://www.teencom.com.my/cgi-bin/index.cgi/home.  They have Imari on pre-order but not sure can trust or not.
*
They are from Melaka one..

So far no one has complained about them lolz

Just placed a pre-order with teencom hopefully they don't screw me.
Cancle my HLJ pre-order.

As for BWH Kastam I saw them dispalying all the things they rampas ( guns, parang, Dildo, plastic vagina, 2 elvis dolls ( I guess becasue you can undress them so kena rampas, a wodden artistic figure resembling a man and a woman kissing(that also can rampas  shakehead.gif), Porn DVD)  So I said to myself when the figure you are ordering is on the borderline and it gives these Hillbillies a bit of erection, then they will take it.

Ah..yes yes..and guess what..

Those items which are detained but not collected by the owners..they will lelong those items lolz

It sounds very true after the xplanation....
But anyway, it still depends to case by case.....
I have made a shipment using SAL before and didnt get taxed, may be that is a small shipment.....
Anyway, I would prefer EMS, safe and fast.......
If my items are about RM50..I usually use SAL / normal airmail..and usually no tax coz RM50 stuffs are usually small.

There's once I ordered 2 toys (RM50 each) and a CD (RM60+) all I separate all of them into 3 shipments..shipped via free shipping from Play-Asia..and all pass through kastams biggrin.gif

Just for my reference, any one here manage to get their reserve item when it release in Japan? I just reserved some hot items from Hobby Search which will be release on Oct.

I reserved the item the next day after they add the item in their website. Since this is my first time reserve item online, I worry that they will reserve the items for their regular customer while new customer have to wait.

I dun think so..It should be First come first serve! biggrin.gif

Thanks alot, however if use EMS better la means, but if items+ems fees, still cheaper buying from there ? or after converting, buy in malaysia cheaper?
*
Well..its cheaper for some products..you need to compare them..sometimes they are almost the same price..

So its better to get them locally if buying online is the same price as buying locally..

EMS is better but who knows..maybe the figure you ordered already got manufacturer defect..

Hi all!!!

Try buy at MyClick-Shop and see how fast the delivery is  brows.gif
*
Dude..dun compare Malaysian online shop and overseas shakehead.gif

Of course Msian online shops deliver faster to Msian customers and US shops deliver their stuff faster to US customers..its so obvious!

And that site you posted..so far I only see gundam models..no PVC figures so far..and summore when I tried to register..I was asked to select my state but I cant find the state 'Penang' there..

And when I click 'About Us', this is what I get..Put here your "About us" information.

Looks like its a new established online shop..esp for gundam figures..
