Just saw this figure in HLJ Imari Bible Black.  Want to place a per-oder but just worried about Penang customs. They'd most likely screw me with taxes  but do you guys think they'd allow it to pass.

its based in Japan, will it kena tax? And if yes then how much will it be roughly, and how to pick up and where? because i have to ask a friend to buy for me as i have no credit card.

edited: I will use the Regular Japanese Postal Service which will cost 36 US, and i live in Malacca, will they deliver to your doorstep?

ok guys, i just came back from the Big damn Post Office of KLIA, in case you dont know how to get there, once u reached KLIA area, just follow the signboard of "Terminal LCC" or "Cargo", both lead u to the same place, hv to drive a bit though to reach there, then the big Post Office is easy to spot.

stop at the guard house, leave ur IC there and get a visitor pass, then drive ur car in and park at the "pelawat" parking lot, go into the row of counter and straight to counter 1(num printed in red), show the letter "tahanan" u got it earlier and get ur parcel.....later he will guide u where to go and pay, basically just go to counter by counter to check, and pay the tax....after paid the tax then get back the pass from counter 1 and go back.
throw back the pass to the guard and get ur IC back....and safe journey back to home, to me is back to office just now...

according to the office who calculated how much i hv to pay, he told me that anything also they can tax, even sometimes tax u 10bucks u also hv to go there, although there is a small notice board told that some goods below rm200 is entitled to tax free, but again depends on whether they want to call u there and tax u...

a strange thing he told me, EMS shipment below rm200 got exemption, but if u get called by them u still hv to go there to fill up a stupid declaration form to get the tax free exemption...sigh..#$%^&*
for normal shipment, anything on any amount also they can tax u...

Have ordered few times through HLJ using SAL and nearly all went by smoothly except once where i was taxed 10+5 with item + shipping total up to less than RM500.... Either that Customs officer is in a bad mood, or i look like i have some extra cash to spend...   

I know..that's why i listed SAL instead of just replying..~ Coz since EMS usually costs double of SAL, i dont think Customs will lower down their tax tolerance due to faster shipping method..~

Jst hope you could have a rough idea on it..~ 

I just got my package from HLJ today using SAL total was 267(including shipping)  got taxed 15% of that total.  He said for EMS tax will only be skip for less than RM 500.  But I was more worried about my Imari order, sure kena rampas one, now need to cancle my second HLJ order for Imari .
Kastam are really pricks for imposing they hipocartic moral values on me.

As for BWH Kastam I saw them dispalying all the things they rampas ( guns, parang, Dildo, plastic vagina, 2 elvis dolls ( I guess becasue you can undress them so kena rampas, a wodden artistic figure resembling a man and a woman kissing(that also can rampas  ), Porn DVD)  So I said to myself when the figure you are ordering is on the borderline and it gives these Hillbillies a bit of erection, then they will take it.

I have made a shipment using SAL before and didnt get taxed, may be that is a small shipment.....
Anyway, I would prefer EMS, safe and fast.......

Just for my reference, any one here manage to get their reserve item when it release in Japan? I just reserved some hot items from Hobby Search which will be release on Oct.

I reserved the item the next day after they add the item in their website. Since this is my first time reserve item online, I worry that they will reserve the items for their regular customer while new customer have to wait.

anyone ordered toys from the US before using International Priority Shipping, how long does it usually takes for it to arrive?
Mine been more than three weeks now. Called KLIA post office yesterday and they say they'll check and get back to me but till now still no news

the last shipment from play asia came after a week and a half too dunno what's going to come of this - the support staff bryan said that they are looking into the matter and will take up to TWO weeks to settle it
