^ the more I see it, the more I feared my current shipment gonna get stopped. Though they are not "toys" or figures, but it's costing close to RM600, excluding freight charges. *sweat*

necklace: amount + 10% phone straps: (amount + 10%) + 5% tabung wang: (amount + 10%) + 5% I heard he said, "metal composition" might be cheaper or something woh. I also not sure. Anyhow, I think the taxable amount is on the items only, not inclusive of the freight? Unless he has divided the freight cost amongst the items and charge the tax on top of the final figure. |

^ CIF = Item value + freight charges. Or it's called "landed cost" in another term.
No tax on RM500 and below is an agreeable amount, even the officer that attended to me at Kastam there agreed to it. I guess you have to refer to the taxation textbook in order to find out about it. Should be available on major book stores. |

I wished they would have mistook my 16000 yen as 16000 rupiah.

Is that registered mail or just normal air mail?
Usually for SAL registered from Amiami, it takes about 7 business days to arrive. |

^ anything exceeding RM500
But this is rather vague if your items were sold to you at different currency, cause everyone's conversion rate is different. Better stick to around RM480 to be on the safe side. |

^ is that USPS registered post? At least some postage that requires signature upon delivery. If not, then you can consider saying bye bye to it, as it might have been confiscated by our "efficient" staffs at either the Custom or Postal.

Next time, pay a bit extra, have it registered. At least it's insured and those staffs dare not take it, cause it has tracking.

^ anything you pay will goes down the drain... hehe.
Just kidding, but the name just sounded funny. If payments is made through Paypal, you can always complain and get the charges reversed back to your credit card, if anything fishy by the merchant. |

^ that's taking too long.
On SAL Registered, it takes about 7 business days to arrive. SAL, most likely got lost or "confiscated" by your beloved Kastam, since it doesn't require signature for receiving. |

QUOTE(KahVII @ Nov 26 2010, 06:32 PM) I think I'm one of those lucky asses. Not SAL Registered?I bought 2 Figmas from Amiami and used SAL as shipping option and on the same day as well I made another purchase from HS and used EMS as shipping option. Guess what? Both of them arrived the same day today lol. SAL in 5 days omg, I was so surprised when I saw that. Was expecting 2 weeks for it |

My latest shipment was via SAL registered. But the tracking site only shows "Dispatch from outward office of exchange" as the last entry.
Japan Post got lazy? lol Anyway, the item has arrived safely. |

QUOTE(BeastX @ Mar 5 2011, 08:49 AM) If your credit card statement is online... you can verify it (with the code) in about 3 days... Managed to use my unverified CC for Paypal payments for up to around RM200. Never had the chance to hit the limit for unverified CC yet though. However before verification.... I guess you're unable to use your cc, to pay.. |
