^ anything you pay will goes down the drain... hehe.
Just kidding, but the name just sounded funny. If payments is made through Paypal, you can always complain and get the charges reversed back to your credit card, if anything fishy by the merchant. |

Hey guys, I need some info concerning my purchase from HLJ.
This is my 1st ever online purchase so I'm a bit worried. So here's the deal: I purchased a few kits from HLJ and they sent email that the package has been shipped on 28 Sep. It's been 3 weeks already without any news. No notification from customs. Nothing. The shipment is via SAL. So, is this normal? How long does it usually takes for shipment from Japan to KL via SAL? Is the package sent directly to the address given or do they just send a notification to the address and I have to pick it up myself at the post office? If its by notification, and by any chance the notice failed to reach me, how do I go about contacting the post office? Any help from experienced customer of HLJ or by any kind soul with experience is appreciated. Thanks. |

^ that's taking too long.
On SAL Registered, it takes about 7 business days to arrive. SAL, most likely got lost or "confiscated" by your beloved Kastam, since it doesn't require signature for receiving. |

Having the same experience as the mdshaman here. Bought some kits from HWJ value below 200 reportedly shipped out on 14th September via SAL, yet to arrive.
I wonder if i'll ever see them.... |

Just to share with you guys. We over here in East Malaysia usually have to wait like 1 month to receive any parcel shipped using SAL. So my advice is to wait. If you havent receive it by the 6th week. File a complain to your seller.

Most item will end up at our "good" custom officer house |

Yep. Paying 400 yen or so for tracking is definitely better than having 2 packages in a row going missing. Also i heard Customs has a habit of detaining items indefinitely even if they are not ban items (like paint) or exceeding RM500 limit.
Truly a 3rd world country we live in... |

Can anyone share their experience on this case? For example, if you are a frequent buyer from AmiAmi and Mandarake (like 1 or 2 figure per month but below RM500) but got held by kastam once due to one package exceeding RM500. If you were to continue buying from oversea after that, will they stop every item, including the one below RM 500, since they have your name and address?

If they wanna detain your parcel then they will just detain it lol. I was hoping that they will only detain my parcel only ONCE..but they detained my parcel 3 times already..TQ |
