thinking of getting Nex7 or Olympus EM-5

reason is travelling with a 7D overseas and into the wilderness is really tiring.... its heavy and when go in to jungle or hiking also affraid i damage it becoz it is so big.

This 2 seems nice but i cant decide.
EM-5 lens small and got weather seal.
Nex-7 very nice build camera but those lens are all giant size (which is like my canon)

Nex 5n? It has similar quality like DSLR, able to shoot at low light. APSC sensor. Articulated screen and aperture is based on the lens you wanted to mount in it.

Thinking of GXR.. Anyone tried that before?

Does M4/3 has any zoom lens with f2.8? Like Tamron 17-50 f2.8?

Type 1 - G1x from Canon if you dun care interchangeable. G12 not bad also. Total damage, about 2k+

Type 2 - Macro lens aint cheap. Around 1k++ Maybe a 60D + 1855 + a macro lens of your choice. Will cost bout 4k+ already for this.

Type 1 + Type 2 = 7k liddat liao.

Noooo.

G12 is about 1,5k or less. I am stating 2k+ for the new G1x

Can manage for sure, just need adjust here and there lo..

Macro, maybe something like Tamron SP90 - 1500+

Add your 60D + 1855 around 3000+

Total 6k out abit if you willing to nego or compromise.

Ever consider Canon? the 50mm f/2.5 compact macro one, else top up few more hundred bucks for the 100mm f/2.8. Have no past experience dealing with tamron 90mm / sigma 150mm.

i did consider canon 100mm f/2,8. but the lens that i borrowed from my brother in law wasnt impressive at all. considering the price tag compared to both tamron and sigma..
