My Insight is wearing Stock tires, dunlop, SP 2030. Car was due for rotation/alignment/balancing at 30k. I having been doing this for every 10k.
Happily go to the tire shop, to my amaze, the front tires are GONE! Inner part of my tire is bald, white thread can been seen! The rims do run into some poth holes, a little dent, but still the tires is gone too fast, less than a year of smooth driving (achieved 5.8L/100km averagely).
Changed all the 4 tires to Achilles ATR Sport 205/45/16, cheapo tire @ 250/pc, but review is ok ba. Really tempted to change to 17 inch rim... maybe next time.
Have been driving car for years and never do encounter such a poor quality tire... if i delay my tire rotation, you could probably saw news reporting a white insight lost control, spinning on highway!

So all insighters... pay extra attention to the dunlop sp 2030 tires.Attached Image

This looks more like cause by your alignment out and toe is not align. (usually use chamber screw to align it? To prevent this from happen ?)

Car alignment is periodically check at every 10k, I even went for alignment again at 25k after hitting poth hole.
Some tire shop told me, chamber screw is not necessary, they can align without it.

bro no worries..experience b4..was worried also till I read the manual..there are few conditions where it does that..if the car engine is cold..auto stop at an incline, battery level is lower, so it stop the auto stop..just read the manual ya..haha..I had the same experience as well..

Both not good cause not exist!!!

ABS and PP material is the best for bodykits but is also the most expensive... both bodykit material is thin, light and durable but ABS is hard plastic so the chances of crack under high stress (like hitting a devider accidentally) is higer PP is the original bumper material or what we called tupperware plastic... very light and flexible also the most expensive

AVOID PU material as it is very thick and heavy, new car now uses clip instead of screw so the clip will giveway... the good side the PU will last longer than your car!!! you can abuse it crash it and it will still be in 1 piece the downside your car bumper is way more expensive than the bodykit!!! you will replace bumper more often smile.gif

FIBER... the cheapest / the lightest and the most fragile.... if you plan to change kits every year then this is the best!!!

Fiber PP/PU/ABS mix this also not bad usually Airmaster very pro at this!!! really quite good~~~

My insight vibrate when idling, sometime engine almost off, RPM drop then climb back again, service center cleaned the throttle body, but problem still exist. Anyone has the same problem?

The rear absorbers oil leaks, order replacement already.

The front and rear bumper hit by neighbors' guests during CNY when they have parties, spray job cost RM600 for front and back bumper.

From the Honda malaysia website, I found that the specs for insight does not include side airbags but this is included in the specs for insight in other countries eg. in US. That means our insight is a cost down version? or Honda Malaysia website made a mistake?

Check your MAF/MAP sensor... And it is generally for Honda to check and reset ECU mapping after throttle body cleansing. The AFR may have been affected henceforth idling vibration.

I just told service center many problems (which I not sure), in case there was anything I missed. I didnt know the absorber was leaking. Next time I will tell them engine noise, gearbox not smooth, jerks etc, air cond not strong, brake got sound etc, so they will check everything and replace them if necessary.
