QUOTE(reddevilchoo @ Feb 18 2012, 11:25 PM) Guys, I only found 85mm 1.4D available in my workplace only currently. No stock for 85mm 1.8G and the price for D800/D800E is not available. Wow, retail D800?All I know is my boss already carrying D800 and I'm so tempted to try but don't dare What I know is the D800/D800E shown during the launch are just prototypes. Those invited to attend also not allowed to take pictures and save to their own memory card. I wonder who is your boss... some professional photog? o_O |

Er sorry, not sure if I should post here. Is anyone using P300?
Was just wondering if its normal to have the batt indication as full batt, and it just died after a few shots? I admit I didn't charge la, but there isn't any low batt indication one meh? |

The D800E is the D800 without the AA filter, right? How come it is MORE expensive without it?

The Di622 wont flash. izit my setting problem? nid any custom setting on D90? the flash hv no problem as it still flash when i click "Pilot" button. i just got my fren advise, i just make the flash and the D90 hot shoe stick together by pressing it a little bit then it's now flash. most probably is the hot shoe part for the D90 is a bit loose as always use with flash. anyway, my problem solve. thx for viewing~i suspect the connector part for flash or D90. if fix the connector part for the D90 will cost how much? thx for the advise and information. |

QUOTE(emiwy @ Feb 19 2012, 04:40 PM) I got it about 2-3 weeks ago ): had similair symptoms on my errr, old coolpix 995 years back, batt shows full charge, click a few times, then its totally exhausted, got a new battery and everything ok after. I then charge n discharge the old batt a few times, it was still useable, but capacity 1/2 compared to when it was new, battery life about 1.5 years only It works fine wo. I charged on 9th. Took pic the most of 10-13. Then didn't use and also didn't charge until when I needed it yesterday (18). I checked, it shows batt full bar, so I didn't bother to charge la. Went for dinner, took a few shots, and it says "cam batt exhausted" and turn off. -___- suspect your batt maybe fake/copy. checkout nikon's website for telltale signs of fake batteries in the market |

QUOTE(Johannlo @ Feb 18 2012, 11:22 PM) yeah. thanks for the info. i guess that it's good in close-up pictures too though. kay guys. i've made up my mind to go with the 35mm. i guess we all know how good is nikon under low lightfurther more with 35mm 1.8g on wide open, i can say you could get decent result without the need of flash i'm using 35mm 1.8g and for street photography, this lens is good for event like PC fair and the IT fair that just ended today, even better since those events got narrow walkway, with 50mm you need to be further away from the subject, with 35mm, you are at least few step closer to the subject when you are closer between subject other people know you are taking photo and wont walk between you and the subject and without the need of flash, tested this on both day of IT fair but too bad my photography skills is still very bad, need to improve more to make better use of the lens Added on February 20, 2012, 1:01 am QUOTE(Johannlo @ Feb 18 2012, 11:22 PM) yeah. thanks for the info. i guess that it's good in close-up pictures too though. kay guys. i've made up my mind to go with the 35mm. i guess we all know how good is nikon under low lightfurther more with 35mm 1.8g on wide open, i can say you could get decent result without the need of flash i'm using 35mm 1.8g and for street photography, this lens is good for event like PC fair and the IT fair that just ended today, even better since those events got narrow walkway, with 50mm you need to be further away from the subject, with 35mm, you are at least few step closer to the subject when you are closer between subject other people know you are taking photo and wont walk between you and the subject and without the need of flash, tested this on both day of IT fair but too bad my photography skills is still very bad, need to improve more to make better use of the lens This post has been edited by amduser: Feb 20 2012, 01:01 AM |
