Since this thread moves quite fast, what's the problem with my camera? hmm.gif

See pic you guys will know dy. It doesn't show any folders. http://i.imgur.com/9P9mW.png

Edit : The folder appears for 1 second (when I switch the camera on) then it disappears.

Nevermind. I think it's because of the Capture One software. I restarted and it's fine now.

i read in a forum, cant recall, that if you are good with small tools, have an eye for detail, and good soldering skills, you can actually reverse those dials to function like the original ones......

google is your best friend
*
True, true. Just have to switch the cables around, if you know how though.

sure? good one i try to search and see, but i did try out 'china' grip before and it worked exactly like original orientation, but recently i got one from forumer here, and the shutterspeed dial is in reverse. sad.gif and she is reluctant to do refund since when i purchase she said the part is from japan, thou she never said is original, since she offered 18 months warranty, so i would like to try out, but the reverse dial is really annoying.

i went to shop to tried out meika grip, it have both shutterspeed/ aperture dial in reverse... doh.gif
*
Mine's Meike and it's in reverse too. I don't mind, that's what you get for the price you pay for doh.gif I need to get used to it, that's all, which I already have of course. haha.

if then i would go for meike for rm200 than a fake product for rm340 with both also reverse dial.. isn't it? but the forummer keep sending the unit back for repair and came back with same problem for almost half a year now. doh.gif

my first try on long exposure shot using my new tripod biggrin.gif

the astro plate and the apartment opposite got in the shot doh.gif and the car on the street is a bit distracting
*
A bit OE'd but meh, it's a test and I don't quite find the car distracting except you're taking from the wrong angle lah, cars appearing in light trail shots can be interesting biggrin.gif

QUOTE(onestudioz @ Mar 18 2012, 12:04 AM)
just want ask.. d90 discontinued right? so when new model will be anouce?
*
Some say D7k is the replacement. No one knows. But D7k seems legit to be one for D90.

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 18 2012, 12:32 AM)
duno, nikon keep diam diam only...so far we expected replacement of D300s -> D400 gua...

current d90 not-so-direct-upgrade is D7000  unsure.gif
*
Isn't D7k replacement for D90? I mean, in a way...? lol =x

i just planing to buy d90 this week..but when i ask all forumer that sell d90..all of them out of stock..n after google.. baru tw yg d90 da discontinued
*
Discontinued BUT there are still stocks around and people are selling it expensive (including D3100, D5100, D7000) with reason "Thailand flood".

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 18 2012, 01:53 AM)
not really a "replacement" for D90...if you check category of D7000, it is advance 1 more level...but still lower than D300s
*
So basically it's between D300s and D90. and all along I thought it was same as D90 tongue.gif

Added on March 18, 2012, 2:40 amHere's to the forummers late at night. Tempting or not? hmm.gif

i use bulb mode and i open the shutter more than a minute with f22, ISO100

that is the only angle i can find in my house doh.gif
increase exposure around 0.2, lighten the shadow, increase contrast and increase vibrance to make the food look rick in color and exposure to brighten the surrounding and feel like you are taking the picture under good lightning

that's what i normally did for my photo, i'm newbie in editing too and still leaning
*
lol~ probably out of the house just to experiment tongue.gif

hmm.gif I also learning how to take food photog technique. Learning from sifu goldfries~

QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 18 2012, 02:24 PM)
ya, its slightly underexpose.
if it was me, i'll crop it tighter to get rid of the empty spaces on the top etc.

also since got so much noise, one thing u can also try is convert b&w and use selective color to bring out just the satay and sauce color.
*
I actually added some sharpening during PP. Made it look like noise it seems... hmm.gif but iinm ISO was at 400. Will expose it a little more nod.gif

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 18 2012, 04:09 PM)
not tempting  tongue.gif
no cucumber there to add more colourful in pictar...  tongue.gif
*
There were cucumbers but not together with the satay doh.gif so I didn't thought of putting them together. Thanks anyway! Will improvise biggrin.gif

sometime you need to balance your sharpening with noise reduction

another method you can try is to use the sharpen function in adjustment brush to sharpen selective area
*
hmm.gif Alright. I'll try that selective area technique. Thanks. btw, I pp'd using laptop, I realise that when I use a CRT / iMac and laptop, all qualities are slightly different doh.gif so each time I wanna pp I have to use the monitor, sigh.

Continuing with the manual focus video topic... I use manual focus to record, looks fine, but when transferred to PC/laptop, it's a bit OOF/blurry doh.gif
