need help... anyone having problem with 3rd party battery grip on D7000? i have reverse dialing on front dial.

i read in a forum, cant recall, that if you are good with small tools, have an eye for detail, and good soldering skills, you can actually reverse those dials to function like the original ones......

sure? good one i try to search and see, but i did try out 'china' grip before and it worked exactly like original orientation, but recently i got one from forumer here, and the shutterspeed dial is in reverse. and she is reluctant to do refund since when i purchase she said the part is from japan, thou she never said is original, since she offered 18 months warranty, so i would like to try out, but the reverse dial is really annoying.

i went to shop to tried out meika grip, it have both shutterspeed/ aperture dial in reverse...

if then i would go for meike for rm200 than a fake product for rm340 with both also reverse dial.. isn't it? but the forummer keep sending the unit back for repair and came back with same problem for almost half a year now.

when is the d7000 stock return to normal? so hard to buy nowadays

It could be possible anyway, 3 more Nikon DSLRs is on the way.

my first try on long exposure shot using my new tripod

the astro plate and the apartment opposite got in the shot and the car on the street is a bit distracting

just want ask.. d90 discontinued right? so when new model will be anouce?

duno, nikon keep diam diam only...so far we expected replacement of D300s -> D400 gua...

current d90 not-so-direct-upgrade is D7000 

i just planing to buy d90 this week..but when i ask all forumer that sell d90..all of them out of stock..n after google.. baru tw yg d90 da discontinued

not really a "replacement" for D90...if you check category of D7000, it is advance 1 more level...but still lower than D300s

i use bulb mode and i open the shutter more than a minute with f22, ISO100

that is the only angle i can find in my house
increase exposure around 0.2, lighten the shadow, increase contrast and increase vibrance to make the food look rick in color and exposure to brighten the surrounding and feel like you are taking the picture under good lightning

that's what i normally did for my photo, i'm newbie in editing too and still leaning

ya, its slightly underexpose.
if it was me, i'll crop it tighter to get rid of the empty spaces on the top etc.

also since got so much noise, one thing u can also try is convert b&w and use selective color to bring out just the satay and sauce color.

sometime you need to balance your sharpening with noise reduction

another method you can try is to use the sharpen function in adjustment brush to sharpen selective area
