do you have google sync on? i tot if u havent root the device and do anything "non default" google sync can pretty much save all your setting and apps.. so doing reset won't cause u to lose much.. unless u've stored some files into the device manually.. i'm not sure reset would wipe them
*
it is rooted and sync is not on...it was initially.

That is the problem using pattern lock. Too many attempts will locked phone. I never use pattern or even the faced lock. My phone no personal data open viewable - all such data are protected with passwords on app
I would say to reflash rom to solve it

I also thinking to do the same. Is there way to boot temporary just like we have windows live cd....anyway I can go inside and enable data.

Ah yea, didn't consider that. Shoot this is a weird system to bypass the lock thingie. Y don't they use credentials stored in phone; y need to connect pula x.x

Maybe give it a go? Nothing to lose right, shoving another sim and see if data miraculously turns on laugh.gif

^buggy? It's not a bug, that's what will happen when someone steals your phone. Wiping the phone of all data is the security mechanism. You wouldn't want a thief to bypass a security lock that easily, would you?

It's a flaw imo. That's the point of the google login, backup mechanism ma. Weird that you actually need data for it, should take the credentials u store when u add the account to your phone

it is a flaw. The fone should unlock with the credentials. If this is a security issue why show the option to get the option to unlock?

Added on January 30, 2012, 2:14 pmhow can i restore using titanium? if I reinstall titanium apps..I can restore?
