ur right it is too expensive to replace STB .. but if u make noise loud .. i dont think they will replace it because out of warranty .. they only going to show T&C to u .. but u can try .. maybe other's can follow if problem like u happen to us ... good luck bro ..

Well I didn't bother to go to TMPoint to make a complaint bout the STB Box, but I managed to get a STB from a friend who isn't using IPTV as he has astro. Problem now is, how do I reset the user/password of STB which is in my friend's unit to my own user/password.

Managed to go to #1397# page, inserted password, but no idea where to reset the user and password for it.
Any of you guys know how to reset it?

Anyone experienced this before:?

Registered online on 27/01/12 through TM Website..Next day received installation slot date which was 21/02/12 sad.gif
Today I called UniFi and requested to get earlier date and they gave me 02/02/12 which is on this Thursday rclxms.gif

Didn't expect that as I read most of UniFi subscribers have to wait at least a month or so for installation slot..

I want to ask.. Im planning to get TL-WR841ND for UniFi but i have a dilemma..
Should I try out the DIR-615 router which TM provide first OR should I ask the contractor to install TL-WR841ND on installation day?

Coz from what i have seen on klseet.com, its kinda confusing to setup the router on my own.. sweat.gif

Try not to test the contractor to do that because if you face any issue they can blame your device. If you use their setup there is no excuse.

hi, one question. What is the difference when the channel bandwidth is 20MHz and 20/40MHz on the DIR 615 router? thanks!

40mhz is specify for wireless N

20mhz more for wireless G

if you have more device on G use 20mhz

or just set as auto

rclxub.gif does this explain last night, my download on one 11Gb file from my company's mainframe full speed 600kb/s average, and then, continue to download a 200Mb+ file only, (from same FTP) download become SELOW 40-50kb/s!!!

Guys,

to those living around PJ with Unifi, check your IPs. is it 210.x.x.x?

then have a look at your Connection Type at whatismyipaddress.com; Dial-up. tongue.gif

using 210, you'll have slow browsing. check on your side for me. i have to redial few times to get back ip 175 with the connection type Broadband. I've been seeing the same ip210 frequently since end of last year

I'm currently using 210 ip now. Doesn't seem slow to me just like normal Unifi smile.gif
