I still prefer the NOTE mainly due to its bigger display. I bought the Note solely for this reason. The S-Pen and its note taking features was a bonus to me. I was previously using the 5" Dell Streak also for same reason while its performance loses out terribly to the SGS II than.
The GNex is however slightly smoother and slicker in its UI. Apps opening is also slightly faster. I take it out only for my morning and evening jogs as being smaller is more pocketable. The Gnex display is also more vibrant, brighter and nicer and text looks better too

You can further take a look at the screen capture comparisons made by Uncle Benny on post no. 3293.

Nexus = ICS4
Note = Bigger screen, more powerful processor, S-Pen functions

Dear Benny,
Need help i just downloaded the latest OS from Kies. The downloading is ok and installation reach 100% but when my phone display "Downloading... Do not turn off target!!" and things were fine for few minute. after that on my computer screen it's display "Lost Connection, Please Restart" so should i restart my phone ? i'm confuse.
I would think by now if nothing happens on the phone, you would already have restarted the phone. Did it boot to 2.3.6? If not, repeat the process again.

When I'm talking to someone using my Note, I feel like there's a lag. Normal calls now feel like international calls -__-
Don't blame it on the Note. Blame it on the telco trying to go cheap by redirecting it to their cheap VOIP lines.
