Latest firmware for Open Europe is good enough for normal user. Its fast and stable. You wont have headache related to wifi, spen, market and hot battery.

okie.. currently doing the 2nd option. downloading the FW..

another questions.. is it okie to flash the latest firmware directly or do i need step by step coz i saw on malaysia FW there's a few with different date and android version.. my phone as i remember was on 2.3.5 and build number that i can't remember..
*
You may flash latest firmware or rootable firmware. KL3 below able to root using cf-root (zergrush). After that all need to flash via mobile odin.

LA3 latest. Direct root not available. Checkout my blog. Its good enough for normal user. Stable and fast.

Finally updated to rocketrom v18. but the phone r much lagging and heat up faster compare to stock rom. sad.gif

Should I reflash or just wait until it settle down?
*
Get LA3 stock. No headache. It's fast enough. You don't need root at this time.

So this stock rom can be flashed to Malaysia local set?  smile.gif

No prob. I purchased Note from Celcom on the first day and had used either Hong Kong or Europe version with no problem at all. No worry. Malaysia just too slow for firmware update.

Or, do you guys use headset/Bluetooth hands free for this phone?

How's the battery like if having the Bluetooth turn on all the time?

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note which is original and warranty by SME...

But I was abit curious to find out that the baseband version and the build version is different..
Must the two codes be the same if it was an original firmware, or else may it had been tweaked to rooted before??
