3) bought US itunes giftcard
4) redeem it on my itunes account, so Hulu plus will charge every month for $7.99

it works and my account just got charged yesterday..but of course ur ATV need to be in US IP range where u can use unblock.us or tunlr

After registering using itunes, you should get an email from netflix to set up your account. Then you can start netflix on other devices.

Also, has anyone updated atv to the latest firmware?
How is it so far? I'll probably wait until there's a jailbreak for that firmware version.

Sound:
When set to dolby digital as default. When u play a movie. No sound.
To get it have to go back to stereo and then back to Dolby

Also Last time the Languages for Dual Audio was both Labeled as English with Dolby being on the higher track.

Now its labeled as English (Surround)

Looks like tunlr will cease support for Netflix. I no longer can connect to Netflix using tunlr DNS. Is there any other free service like tunlr?

Tunlr no longer supports Netflix. It has been known for almost a week. They still support Hulu plus, pandora and other streaming sites. If you still want to use Netflix in Malaysia, you have to subscribe to a VPN service like unlock-us, strong VPN, etc. come on guys, everything cannot be free forever,right? And nothing that is free will last forever either. Start those credit cards rolling, now!

Apple TV Support is not dropped by tunlr, only netflix support has been dropped. Hulu Plus still works on Apple TV.

I'm unable to utilize it any more on apple tv though it works fine with mac and ipad. if you go to the tunlr website under get started - there is no get started with apple tv anymore... funny...
