i think celcom adjust higher QoS for this portawifi packages,..

again with the word " UP TO 21Mbps", he he very catchy,.

no need 21Mbps la.........

we dun use this to DL, if i DL one HD movie, the quota will be gone in less than 1hr...... biggrin.gif

we use this to do important stuff like online banking which need fast connection and play games with its low ping

btw, wat is the QoS ?

i ady extended the validity once and my sim now have rm5 credit , once i extended the validity of the simcard 5 times, i will have rm25, and i can subscribe for another 30days , this way i can preserve the simcard for any eventuality icon_idea.gif

Yes but hard to find one that give that...

my Umobile connected for 30 hours... but after that start to dc, while i have something really important to do...

maxis even worse now... I can't use for work since end of last month.... after I heard they start blocking some of the port... doh.gif

Umobile also blocking my access last time, but they open it when I start make a noise... 2 months of noise....

Telco shouldn't block any port... we pay, we can use whatever port we want...

most of the telco block 70% of the port,.. well, still wireless broadband is my only choices because in my area only have streamyx 1Mb plan, LOL, so i end up with maxis,.. of course our device combination set also as important as the line too

Port numbers range from 0 to 65536, but only ports numbers 0 to 1024 are reserved for privileged services and designated as well-known ports. Port above 1024 is not use by common services, most likely will be use within the local lan.

1024/65536 = only 1.5% well-know port which commonly use.

how telco know which one to block from 1025 - 65536 (98.5%) if you say they block 70% of it. If they want to block VPN, that mean only need to block port 500, 4500 and maybe 1701 too. I use port 8280, which is not vpn port anyway.

Telco take an easy step to block all port except most important one like http, https, ftp and etc... but never think that some of their customer will need that...

Honestly, I check my sim QoS is still at 7240. As celcom given the sim to me which promise speed is base on best effort basis and CS not sure where my speed will reach ==''
