QUOTE(nordingh @ Aug 9 2012, 05:23 AM) my bro-in-law doing network upgrade for celcom since last year if I not mistaken. Almost every week he out of town for that. Last week he told me, celcom will start to roll out HSDPA+ after raya. He even went twice to the nearest tower from my kampung last month. yup, it was reported in malaysianwireless blog http://www.malaysianwireless.com/2012/06/c...-axiata-42mbps/at june i opened this thread for discussion then silent already: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2407184the funny part is why celcom ready for LTE already then only now to upgrade to 3G HSPA+ ...seems out of order. my own understanding is that celcom wanna ready to roll out LTE ASAP ONCE license granted to tap as large market as possible, giving up the exisitng 3G market a bit to competitors - since new market always more lucrative biz.

Sifus, I wish to create my personal hotspot, so Mifi is the way to go, right?
However, there are so many choices out there and I do not know which one to choose, really. Can anyone recommend me? Something that is not expensive and signal is good? I am looking to only use about 3 gadgets at a time.
Also, how do I generally configure Mifi? Just put in any broadband simcard and that's all? I thought sim cards like Maxis Broadband requires you to dial up/connect to their server before you have the 3G connection?

For low cost solution, Huawei E355 is the choice You dont need a computer for mifi device as the modem itself having its own interface for automatically dial up and tether once connected PM me if interested
